"The most valuable features of Aruba ClearPass are its ease of use and the general network access controls.""What I like best about Aruba ClearPass is its 802.1X certificate-based authentication feature.""Aruba has improved my organization because it supported me on my level of access.""Aruba ClearPass has improved the security control in our network environment.""If you are looking at the base installation, then it was a very straightforward process, which I would rate an eight or nine out of ten.""ClearPass' best features are authentication, support for multiple devices, and monitoring.""The most valuable feature is flexibility as it supports solutions from multiple vendors.""The visibility and security features are most valuable. Cons
"They could provide a single-box solution to manage tools for 4000 users. Additionally, they could add extra features to enhance remote micro connection.""On the cloud, when you make some changes, it may be difficult.""It would be better to connect to an application portal from any device. Documentation and support could be better.""The user interface should be improved as it is not very easy to work with the updates.""One limitation is that it's harder to provide access to multiple applications in the company with Appgate, but that's probably because of poor management.""One thing that kind of sticks out to me is the ability to do a proper non-split tunnel. VPN tunnel-wise, it is not really a true unsplit tunnel, but I think that's just because of the way it's designed. A split VPN basically allows your system to talk to other systems without being forced down the tunnel. A VPN running in a non-split tunnel mode forces all the traffic down the tunnel to wherever you're VPNing to. It forces the traffic down so that the traffic is subject to the firewall and rules that you have in your corporate environment and such. It helps to prevent remote malicious folks that may be talking directly to that box from piggybacking into the corporate environment through it. They do it partially, but it would be nice to see more of an enterprise-level solution there."

"The pricing policy could be more flexible.""I can't think of an area where the solution is lacking a feature or a capability.""Aruba ClearPass has a complex pricing scheme, so that's an area for improvement. The process for setting up Aruba ClearPass also needs improvement. It could be easier.""Aruba ClearPass could improve the complexity of the initial usage. It takes some time to be good at it. It's not simple to build and connect the rules to the network you want to deploy them on.""A specific component is part of the solution called ClearPass Onboard, which can sometimes be complex and challenging to set up. If they could simplify the process and make it easier, that would be a benefit.""Lacks the ability to handle more than one certificate for both the management process and the Captive Portal.""Licensing cost is extremely high.""I remember our technical team stating that the installation front of the solution was a bit difficult when compared to other solutions."
