We performed a comparison between IFS Cloud Platform and ManageEngine IT Asset Management based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two IT Asset Management solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable features of IFS Applications are their intuitiveness and ease of use. The navigations are also straightforward, which makes it easy to train users. The feedback I always receive is that it is very user-friendly."
"All the modules are valuable in their own right, but everything has to go through the ERP. IFS has done an excellent job integrating the various modules to complete these processes. My expertise is in the finance module, but I have used the other verticals. It's an all-around good product."
"When it comes to financing, the solution has helped us to concentrate finance functions like accounting processes in one system. This includes about 70 internal entities around the world."
"Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a nine or ten out of ten since it is an extremely scalable solution that can be used for various use cases with thousands of users."
"IFS Applications' best feature is the user-friendly interface that has a .NET Framework application in the front end and an Oracle database and WebLogic middleware."
"One of our favorite features is the "Info-Zone", which provides operational intelligence in flight and in context to guide both business users and support teams to productivity."
"The main reason for the ERP project was to bring together our fourteen sites, which had until then worked in separate silos."
"The product is quite flexible."
"The auto-discovery feature has helped us a lot."
"In my opinion, it is the MDM; patch management and deployment are the valuable features."
"The technical support is great."
"It would be ideal if, in the future, the product could incorporate IoT and blockchain elements. We'd like to explore more of these types of features going forward."
"I have seen that one of the areas that my company has identified for improvement might be the rental management capabilities within the solution."
"Ability to place approval check-points in the custom workflow, so clients can decide what they want it."
"The solution's initial setup process was complex...The technical support my company receives from the implementation partners of the solution is not that great."
"IFS Applications can improve the reporting capabilities and increase the speed of feedback time in the IFS Applications. This would help with the overall performance of the solution and provide better experiences for customers."
"The integration is a bit complex, and post-implementation support services need to be improved. They have a service center based out of Sri Lanka. The support aspect is good, but the response time is a little slower than we anticipated. In the next release, it would be better if Warehouse Management could be improvised. They have a product line that's a data warehouse management system, but it's still premature and requires a bit of enhancement."
"There are certain digital features that need to be incorporated, such as IOP."
"Some kind of bot assistance, some kind of artificial intelligence to help people solve the problems, would be interesting."
"The engineering area needs improvement."
"The assets that can be discovered are pretty easy to manage, but there should be a better way to manage non-discoverable assets. Our development team works on bots and tests particular hardware. They have got different varieties of hardware. They want a feature for managing these assets within a warehouse kind of environment. For example, our IT has received 100 items, and they have assigned these items as a bulk unit to a project manager. The project manager further wants to distribute these items within his or her team. Instead of maintaining a separate Excel sheet, the project manager should be able to reallocate these items from within the tool so that we have hierarchical entities for the same unit."
"The asset management tool is costly."
