We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"What I find the most valuable about Confluence is how easy it is to use.""It's easy to use and you can create all types of pages.""It integrates well with other Atlassian products""The most valuable feature of the solution stems from its document-controlling feature. In Atlassian Confluence, controlled documents cannot be edited by anyone else.""The solution helped us to see where we were going wrong and where we were doing good, and that helped us to make proper decisions""What's most valuable to me in Atlassian Confluence is that it allows the concurrent development of documentation. I also like how you can add comments offline and implement changes directly on the document.""Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""It's easy to search for information."

"Slack is a really easy collaboration tool to use and many companies are adopting this popular tool.""Its intuitive design makes it easy to use and understand, hence we do not have a need to spend much on educating our teams.""The product gives the best user experience.""I like the tool's ability to send voice mail. We can also search for conversations easily in Slack.""Slack helps me to read bulk messages.""The feature that I have found most valuable is communication between team members.""The solution makes it easy to create groups, share documents, and communicate.""Slack is a very stable product."

Cons
"The one way in which this solution could be improved is by offering better design and UI.""There are some issues with performance when creating tables.""The UI is good but bland. It could be updated a bit to make it more modern and interesting to look at.""Atlassian Confluence is not really a community-friendly solution.""When we import the data in Confluence from Word or any other document, the formatting is not correct.""The user interface could be improved.""The cost of the solution is too high.""RAM usage seems to be higher than it should be."

"I would like to be able to do live streaming on Slack. Slack allows Slack huddle where you can do a group call, but it is not very well-designed. I'm not sure if it is going very well, but live streaming is one thing that I would definitely love to see. When you use Zoom, I like how you can run webinars. If we could do that through Slack, it would become an all-integrated platform. I would also like to be able to schedule meetings using Slack, similar to Zoom.""The integration with SharePoint doesn’t work properly.""It would be better if Slack had a 'select all' option to delete all the files.""Slack should add a feature to schedule meetings.""For me, the only thing I can say is that every time somebody sent me an attachment, the attachment was listed somewhere, and then I had to open the conversation and go to the individual to open it. So there is no handy repository or an easy way to quickly look at attachments. For me, that was a bit difficult.""I have found it cumbersome to create and set up groups, or channels.""Slack does not have videoconferencing capabilities, which would have been nice.""The mobile app needs improvement. It consistently misses notifications."

  • "When you purchase this solution you get some support."
  • "The issues I have with the pricing are in respect to the add-ons."
  • "The price of the on-premises data center version is too expensive."
  • "Licenses are quite expensive"
  • "There is an annual license."
  • "Pricing wise, it ends up being an expensive solution. In the beginning it's cheap, but by the time you have all the functions you need, it turns out to be expensive."
  • "We have a site license for Atlassian Confluence and there are some limitations on external users."
  • More Atlassian Confluence Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "We use the free version that does not have a license."
  • "The solution is expensive."
  • "It is less expensive than one of its competitors."
  • "It is an expensive tool. We pay 15 to 20 USD monthly per user."
  • "Slack is definitely worth the money."
  • "The pricing can range up to about twenty bucks a user. You can spend a lot of money, especially if you're talking about thousands of users. Generally speaking, Slack is less expensive than Teams. Slack doesn't include all the bells and whistles that Teams does. So you can go from a $6 license in Microsoft 365 to a $50 license per user per month, and there's a lot more you can do in the $50 license."
  • "I would rate the tool's pricing a four out of ten."
  • "The solution is cheap in my country."
