Find out in this report how the two Regression Testing Tools solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable feature is the object cloning."
"On the server-side, multiple developers working on a single project can save their individual works and have them stored in a single repository."
"By implementing the Automation Anywhere robot, we have reduced the FTE count and it was able to process 800 invoices per day with 100% accuracy."
"The Automation Anywhere University is a good tool. It goes topic-by-topic with real-time examples."
"Automation Anywhere has improved our organization by allowing us to reduce the number of new hires, enable us to keep the same workforce, and increase productivity."
"We are getting massive efficiencies across our back office, internally."
"I like Automation Anywhere's document automation. It can distill or scan documents and convert the information into a structured format."
"The reporting capabilities are pretty nice."
"Compared to other products, UFT One is better, faster, and more accurate."
"I like the fact that you can record and play the record of your step scripts, and UFT One creates the steps for you in the code base. After that, you can alter the code, and it's more of a natural language code."
"My company has not had an issue with OpenText UFT One since we have been using it for the past three to four years."
"The shared repositories can be used throughout all testing which makes jobs easier."
"Being able to automate different applications makes day-to-day activities a lot easier."
"It helps in identifying defects earlier. With manual testing, that 15-day timeline meant there were times when we would find defects on the 11th or 12th day of the cycle, but with automation we are able to run the complete suite within a day and we are able to find the failures. It helps us to provide early feedback."
"The solution is easy to integrate with other platforms."
"On a scale of one to ten, I would give OpenText UFT One a 10 because it is a reliable product, it works, it's as good or better than similar solutions especially because you get technical support from real people. Additionally, upgrades are always provided on a consistent basis."
"The initial implementation of Automation Anywhere regarding the elastic search and database set connection can be a little difficult. However, I am skilled enough to get through it. There were some balancing issues that my other team members had to manage. They are having difficulty in balancing when I checked the architecture properly. We determined later that there was no need for a load balance to be done on the servers. We didn't do any load balancing and then the elastic search was not done."
"I would like to leverage the AI component without the requirement to know a coding language, such as Python."
"We have had some quirkiness happen when integrating the Automation Anywhere with other solutions, such as weird Excel issues or temperamental legacy system issues."
"It does not easily integrate with customized solutions."
"We've struggled with some of the new features Automation Anywhere added in the latest version. For example, they added a new OpenAI package, but it took a while for me to find it in the actions menu."
"We have encountered some issues in the actions like Terminal Emulator-> Send Key -> Page Down/Up not working."
"When we need to upgrade the bot version for various applications like SAP, the compatibility issues could be easier to resolve. The financial team is using version 5 or 6, but the automation engineer recommends only version 6 because it is more compatible. I think Automation Anywhere could handle these compatibility issues better."
"We are not getting consistent behavior from the tool We would like to see this improved and the product more stable."
"The price is very high. They should work to lower the costs for their clients."
"One of the drawbacks is that mobile performance testing is in need of improvement."
"The solution is expensive."
"The product should evolve to be flexible so one can use any programming language such as Java and C#, and not just VB script."
"Sometimes, the results' file size can be intense. I wish it was a little more compact."
"I am not sure if they have a vision of how they want to position the leads in the market, because if you look at Tosca, Tosca is one of the automation tools that have a strategy, and it recently updated its strategy with SAP. They are positioning them as a type of continuous testing automation tool. And if you notice Worksoft, particularly the one tool for your enterprise application, your Worksoft is positioning. I am not sure if Micro Focus UFT has a solid strategy in place. They must differentiate themselves so that people recognize Micro Focus UFT for that reason."
"I would like to have detailed description provided to test the cloud-based applications."
"The product doesn't provide free training for the basic features."
