We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
It allows me to present or to demonstrate the business process flow, visually, without having to resort to PowerPoint, Visio, or other products. The speed and execution of DMN was a big selling point for us. It's very good at conducting business processes that are easily modeled and presented in a way that's easy to understand. The solution is easily compatible with HTML forms and HTML language programming and that is the most significant part. When I compare it with other BPM tools, like IBM, it is great, open source, and free when you use the community version. The most valuable feature is the ability to share the logic within the rules engine with the business, so you can put it up for everybody to read. The number of client implementations and cross-language capabilities to support multiple frameworks is very pluggable compared to Pega. It's also more portable.I've found the active community most valuable but it also provides you with a lot of other features. We are documenting all of the processors and VPN. Then we are sharing it with our business users.

The solution's simulation capabilities are the most valuable aspects. This solution is easy to use and it is a good tool for process modeling. The API is pretty straightforward. With the appropriate governance framework, properly trained business analysts can be empowered to design and build business solutions themselves.I find Bizagi so user friendly. I also think that its modeling abilities are great and it's easy to teach them to new users. The product has a comfortable GUI and a good environment for users.I like all of the features. I like that you can simulate the processes and add the time standard. The free online Help and E-Learning is very strong.

The solution offers excellent workflows. The solution provides us with a very good dashboard. The most valuable aspect of the solution is the various workflows. The most valuable feature is the situational layer cake.It is easy to use, easy to understand, easy to implement and easy to enhance and we can do it as a Cloud. Also it is very user friendly. The stability has been good. We haven't had any issues. The interface is quite simple and easy to use, even for beginners. The solution's most valuable feature is its quick setup. Nowhere else you can create a good-looking application this quick. It's a fairly robust system.

Cons
If there were some industry templates it would have helped significantly, because it is similar to a process map for a domain. That is what we are currently creating, a domain-relevant process map.Especially when you use the open-source version, there are issues with performance.I would also like a very easy to use form builder.I would like to have a feature for audit logging, audit logs and audit log management. And some history of use for the audit logs.I would like to see the forms engine available in the open-source version of this solution. The user interface needs improvement. It should be more tailored to the end-user and offer a better user experience design over the user interface itself.I would say that Camunda should actually focus on small cases as well. There's a lot of space out there, for small businesses. If they can, they should cater to them. When you search for Camunda BPM resources or books on how to utilize Camunda BPM, it is lacking. When it comes to Alfresco, there are thousands of resources that can help you to utilize within AWS and its Group Services. I would like to see the usage of Camunda BPM on Amazon Web Services be improved.

There could be more documentation.I would like to see more in terms of analytics and better reporting. The solution needs to make it easier to use RPA products on it. They may need an RPA specific interface. It would be better than having to make an RPA tool to use for viewing. Most of our work is about making RPA tools with the Bizagi, not using Bizagi itself. For very large projects and deployments, the automated "One Click" deployment wizard can sometimes take a long time to complete.I think that they could improve their update process. Some of the process mining techniques could be added to Bizagi. I think that they can improve their simulation abilities to include more elements of the BPMN.It needs some better notation functionality. The performance could use improvement. We couldn't connect the processes to on one file. The performance is an issue for us.It is difficult to drive ROI on types of processes involving complex business rules.

There are some UX shortcomings within the solution. However, it's my understanding that they have addressed them and in the next three months they will come out with a new updated version. They will be moving away from HTML5.From a technical point of view, it would be helpful to have some advanced analytics to help with configuration. We have a lot of unwanted features and it would be good to configure it more appropriately so that we are using just exactly what we need.We need more light retail BPM tools within the Pega system. However, Pega is mostly for big companies.Compared to other BPM products, the interface is somewhat complex, so the usability could be improved.Sometimes when we are patching some data from the database, we are getting added as a timeout. The solution would benefit from more integration capabilities.Pega currently is trying to add chatbots to their systems, and it's still quite immature. This part definitely needs to be improved. The pricing model needs to be improved. Right now, it's too expensive.

Pricing and Cost Advice
I use the open-source free version.Camunda is much cheaper. We are using the open-source version of this solution. It is less cost-prohibitive than other solutions on the market. This solution was in our price range.

This solution would be expensive for a company that has a lot of users. It is only necessary to pay for licenses when ready to deploy applications to production.I think that its price is reasonable.

The price of this solution, including installation and configuration, is comparable to competing vendors.May be somewhat more expensive than other solutions initially, but should have enhanced return on investment. The licensing fees are based on the number of users.
