Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"There are so many advantages. First things, like we have a seamless automation capability available here in BizFlow. Totally customizable, UI we can create, and the third-party integration is also achievable. Not with the in-built functionality, but with custom code and all, we can achieve that thing also."

"Documentum is a highly scalable document management solution because it's built on a solid platform.""The most valuable feature is that it's a central repository for everything, whether it's videos, documents, Excel sheets, etc.""We like Documentum for its capacity and reliability.""The most valuable feature of OpenText Documentum is the versioning.""It is a very secure system. It is reliable, and that is one of the reasons people manage their content within Documentum. It gives them the confidence that the content is accessible to the right people and not to the wrong people.""It is quite good.""OpenText Documentum's composition is good. It is convenient and straight out of the box.""The most valuable feature is that the documents are kept secure."

Cons
"Nintex provided an in-built functionality. Like integration-related things, so many service types are available. You just have to configure it. So, such kinds of things decrease the timing of development. So, it is missing in Bizflow."

More BizFlow Cons →

"The product needs to improve the way documents are logged together. I believe running it on the cloud or containerization will bring value to it. The tool's Time to Market and deployment cycle need to be improved. Finding suitable training materials for OpenText Documentum is also a bottleneck. If we can find the training modules easily, we can bring together people, give them quick training, and start working on the deployment. It can help with quick outputs.""We mostly use the Life Sciences package. That package is somewhat dated. There should be enhancements to the Life Science package and additional offerings to support pharma in particular.""The vertical application could be improved.""OpenText Documentum has a lot of scope for improvement in terms of adding some AI integrations.""One area for improvement in OpenText Documentum is its handling of outdated documents, especially technical ones.""It's difficult to manage and customize Documentum.""It needs a better UI and it should also be cloud-ready. The UI has not changed in years.""The documentation often leaves customers feeling somewhat frustrated, as OpenText seems to expect customers to remind them constantly about the need for better documentation, as they don't provide clear guidance on their documentation practices."
