We performed a comparison between Blackboard Learning Management and Webex based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about CYPHER LEARNING, Moodle, Google and others in Learning Management Systems (LMS)."One of the most important features is the possibility of creating unlimited subdomains."
"Blackboard enables instructors to collectively gather all the grading data into one place. If students upload content or post it to a Google Doc, I can do my grading and calculate the grades. It is an excellent holding place for all of that data"
"It is scalable."
"The modules and courses are flexible."
"It encompasses various components, including course delivery modules, content management, community engagement features, digital classrooms, and mobile integration."
"The most valuable feature is Webex's user-friendly video conferencing."
"The installation was straightforward."
"The solution makes it easy for us as a team to collaborate remotely."
"The most valuable features of the solution are communication, screen sharing, and collaboration."
"WebEx provides the option to record the chat or delete it. You can also dial into the video on your mobile to communicate with the engineer or whoever. One aspect we like most is that the audio is clear. That is one of the most valuable features of WebEx."
"The most valuable aspect of this solution is that it is the easiest for participants to get connected to."
"Webex offers a wide range of useful features."
"The most valuable feature is that you can host presentations with a lot of attendees."
"The system falls short in terms of managing assessments and exams effectively."
"Blackboard has limitations in terms of delivering content and assessing student assignments because it can't handle large file sizes. It's also limited in its ability to track student activity. Instructors can see the student's most recent login, but they can't follow the activity."
"It would be ideal to create a more responsive or more intuitive template for access from telephones or tablets."
"The solution must provide better integration with third-party software."
"The solution is not flexible."
"The performance of WebEx could be improved. If you're using it on a mobile device and on the laptop, you sometimes get glitches, where you've answered the call or joined a meeting on a laptop and your mobile device doesn't quite know what's going on. It may just be technical glitches, but it seems to be a bit shaky sometimes on mobile devices."
"They should integrate the solution with multiple hardware vendors."
"The high price of the product is an area of concern where improvements are required."
"When it was just two people trying to conference, it was easier. But now I see there are times when many people have to be on the call at the same time. That's definitely something that Webex can help with."
"The solution could improve by adding a survey or form feature to show for the users to be able to vote or answer any questions."
"Cisco could maybe make Webex more integrated and compatible with other platforms."
"Webex support is not good. When we try to open a ticket, it takes approximately 24 hours. With Microsoft, we get support within two or three hours."
"When I use it personally, not in my enterprise, there is a time limit of about 60 minutes. After one hour, the call gets cut off. This limit should be increased."

My comments about Zoom:
The Pros:
- It allows you to schedule any meeting and invites your meeting members at a particular date & time with Meeting Id & Password.
- It allows organizing multiple meetings, to carry out online meetings, file sharing, webinars & group messaging.
- Through the Zoom application, users are given the option to connect to more than one conference room, include more attendees remotely, and conduct face-to-face meetings.
- Zoom offers both native mobile (iOS & Andrioid)and desktop versions that let users collaborate & connect remotely.
- It allows us to record video chat and look at them at a later date & time.
- Whiteboard is a good feature for having a meeting in which everyone can join to type or draw, and write.
If we have a brainstorming-type meeting, we can share our own ideas with the whiteboard.
- Zoom recently implemented a Microsoft Office add-in, which means we can now schedule Zoom meetings without having to go into the Zoom app.
The Cons (from my experience using in Melbourne, Australia):
- Have encountered Slow response sometimes when participants are joining from different geographical locations.
- The Free Version allows having a conference call for 40 minutes. Price could be an issue for the Paid Version.
