The categorize formula is very helpful. Previously, we used the Cisco solution, where we could not choose how sites are categorized. Blue Coat updated a lot of sites I categorized. There are other valuable features as well, such as block by location, block by IP, allow by IP, and block by user name, domain, or group domain.The content filters and SSL encryption are the most valuable features of this solution.The solution is very stable. In four years we have not seen any issues with the product.

Cons
Java does not completely work. We are dependent on Java and when the current console does not run with Java, it is a problem for us.The console visibility and the performance impact on the internet needs improvement.Every customer has to perform a manual backup, and automatic backing up is needed.

It would be useful if they had a malware protection engine running inside their own VM.I would like to see a graphical representation of the entire network.Support for multiple domains is important to us.I would like to see DLP integration in the next release of this solution.Security, overall, can always be improved.The solution's technical support is not very good.Some countries don't have a DNS server leading to a domain resolution IP, not at a local level.Its DNS service does not support IPv6 query.

With ELA, if you buy the solution you will have the complete security portfolio and you can pay it yearly or after three years, it depends on the contract.Licensing fees are paid on a yearly basis.Our licensing fees are on a yearly basis.Our costs were negotiated, and they are okay.There is a one-time cost of approximately $800 USD per user, and then a yearly support fee of about $50 per user.The price could be lower.The product is pricey compared to Cisco Firepower.It needs a better price point.
