We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"With Blue Prism, I like the feature that you build, I don't know the exact name now, but blocks or standards can be reduced later. You configure, for example, the CRM system, and you create a standardized manner of inputting data into the CRM system that you can reuse later. I'm not sure what that's called, but I enjoy it whether it's a feature or not.""The reusability of the solution is excellent. It's a superior feature - far superior to any other tool on the market.""The ease of building automation and the development environment""It is an easily scalable solution.""Ability to see the blueprint of the design executed alongside the actual process.""This solution comes with a lot of good features.""If I look at the top four, I believe it is far more user-friendly than the other competition.""The technical support team of Blue Prism Cloud is very good...I rate the support a ten out of ten."

"They are leaders in the same industry.""Pega Robotic Process Automation's most valuable feature is that it is robust. Additionally, they have plenty of online documents that are good and Pega Academy is helpful, they are doing a great job. They give training on practical use cases. They take domain use cases, and they are great.""The initial setup is pretty easy and quite fast.""The solution's automation handling capability has positively impacted the overall automation process in my experience.""It is really flexible in what it can do.""Using the tool actually ends up teaching you about making workflows more efficient.""The solution's ability to create adapters quickly is its most valuable feature.""The feature I like best in Pega Robotic Process Automation is that I'm able to add external DLL section codes. I can inject the JavaScript, and I can write VB.NET, C#.NET, and DLL codes, then inject those codes into the existing process. Mainly, from a development perspective, I like that feature a lot, so if anything is not supported by Pega Robotic Process Automation, then I can build that either in JavaScript or in .NET, then use those functions within the IP."

Cons
"Having more AI functionality would be an improvement.""Blue Prism Cloud's pricing needs to be improved because it is a little bit more costly than other automation tools like UIPath.""The pricing of the solution could be improved. It's a bit expensive right now. They should work to make it more competitive.""They should work on the solution's pricing.""We have limited integrations in place, and my objective is to integrate Sentinel. However, there are constraints as some individuals have only one or two options for SIM integration solutions. Given the urgency of quick resolutions in today's landscape, prevention and detection are crucial. While these measures provide significant security, it's equally important to focus on response and recovery. In the case of a ransomware attack, it's not enough to solely prevent and detect. Once detection is in place, a response model should be implemented to automate the process and minimize the time required for tasks, such as creating investigation reports. In the past, it would take approximately seven to eight days to create an investigation report for a specific attack, including writing a case study. This process can be streamlined and improved through the automation of contextual investigation reports. By saving base templates and content, including screenshots and attack details, automation can be achieved. We are currently working on integrating Microsoft WAF and Excel for this purpose, but having a built-in tool would be ideal.""The solution is unable to read some UI components in legacy systems.""I personally would like the solution to be supporting more languages.""Blue Prism is slightly difficult for the non-technical user."

"There have been some scenarios where the bot was not able to replace some of the controls and could not recognize and personalize the task we wanted to automate.""I feel like it doesn't get updated frequently enough. There aren't a lot of new features or a clear roadmap for future improvements.""The new players such as UiPath and ABBYY are moving very quickly, but Pega is not. I'd definitely like to see Pega doing a few more interesting things on the AI or machine learning front so that we can use the platform for multiple things.""Excel connectors need to be improved as there are a few connectors in Excel areas.""In this modern world, in this automation space, if Pega could provide more options that are user-friendly and provide a way to quickly develop an automation solution that is drag-and-drop with a minimal coding approach, then it would be great for automation.""The way integration classes are created could be improved.""The development experience needs to be improved.""The ease-of-use could be improved."
