We performed a comparison between Blue Prism Cloud and Microsoft Power Automate based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Blue Prism is able to scale up at an enterprise-level. It's what I used when I was working for a big bank in Belgium."
"Once it does the monitor, it collects the respective data and creates an output that is required for reconfiguration."
"The solution is very complete. It's a good solution, for the kind of features that they offer."
"Blue Prism Cloud is a stable solution."
"Blue Prism Cloud is an easy to access and user-friendly solution."
"The most valuable feature is the speed at which we are able to implement solutions that can interact through the user interface in the same way that a human being would."
"It's easy to use, the interface, the the the the queries is which we use. It's user friendly."
"The most valuable feature of Blue Prism's Virtual Workforce is that it is quite stable."
"It has a gamut of things. Power Automate is easy to configure. It is more for a citizen developer. It is low code/no code. It is one of the easiest tools when it comes to configuration. By default, we have a lot of Microsoft products on our laptops or desktops. So, it is very easy to configure the remaining products."
"We have talked to Microsoft. We're a large company and we're talking to Microsoft on a regular basis. We have a partner we talk to when it comes to Automate. We are absolutely satisfied with technical support."
"It is a great solution for simple automation activities or simple automation of simple tasks. It is also integrated with Office 365. Integration is an absolute breeze with any RPA software."
"The product provides valuable integration with other Microsoft tools."
"Microsoft Power Automate is an easy-to-understand solution."
"The solution has saved us hours of work."
"This solution improved the reporting in our organization. The financial department was doing a lot of copy pasting from different sources to create financial reports. Through ProcessRobot, we were able to automate all those copy pasting and produce all those financial reports overnight."
"The tool is very good at implementing automation within processes. It's saved us from doing a lot of manual processes."
"Blue Prism should adopt a low-code approach. Most RPA vendors only provide what they call a "form builder." A low-code designer would enable us to build a custom UI."
"The product’s licensing cost is expensive compared to other tools in the market."
"The issue is that it is not dynamic or intelligent."
"We have limited integrations in place, and my objective is to integrate Sentinel. However, there are constraints as some individuals have only one or two options for SIM integration solutions. Given the urgency of quick resolutions in today's landscape, prevention and detection are crucial. While these measures provide significant security, it's equally important to focus on response and recovery. In the case of a ransomware attack, it's not enough to solely prevent and detect. Once detection is in place, a response model should be implemented to automate the process and minimize the time required for tasks, such as creating investigation reports. In the past, it would take approximately seven to eight days to create an investigation report for a specific attack, including writing a case study. This process can be streamlined and improved through the automation of contextual investigation reports. By saving base templates and content, including screenshots and attack details, automation can be achieved. We are currently working on integrating Microsoft WAF and Excel for this purpose, but having a built-in tool would be ideal."
"If Blue Prism could integrate into Azure SQL because it's essentially an on-prem code, on infrastructure as a service. So, Blue Prism has moved the infrastructure into the cloud, but they haven't necessarily moved the application into cloud-native."
"It could be more flexible."
"The tool’s customer support should improve. There were instances where I tried to call them up and was put on hold. However, they do revert back through emails once a ticket has been issued. They should be quick with their responses on calls."
"It would be useful if some of the information protocols came built within the app instead having to create them."
"They need to come up with a little more on AI and precision discovery path to be able to record the processes."
"It would be great if you could integrate outside of Microsoft environments."
"If the product had onscreen help, it would be easier to learn and use."
"I need to have more integration capabilities from this solution."
"It should work better for Angular websites, as it has a lot of problems."
"Enhancing Power Automate to work synchronously instead of asynchronously would eliminate the need for additional coding, saving time in project implementation."
"I've had some issues with the stability."
"Better support is needed for building custom components on top of ProcessRobot."
