We performed a comparison between Blue Prism Cloud and Ephesoft Transact based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The corporate leverage is better with Blue Prism. They just present better in a large corporation. It's easier to sell suits and ties than it is sneakers and jeans in financial institutions. That's not really about the application per se; it's the perception."
"Blue Prism is able to scale up at an enterprise-level. It's what I used when I was working for a big bank in Belgium."
"Once it does the monitor, it collects the respective data and creates an output that is required for reconfiguration."
"The solution works well overall."
"The most valuable feature is the speed at which we are able to implement solutions that can interact through the user interface in the same way that a human being would."
"The most valuable feature is security."
"If I look at the top four, I believe it is far more user-friendly than the other competition."
"Blue Prism Cloud is an easy to access and user-friendly solution."
"I have found the keyword extraction to be helpful."
"Transact's best feature is its ease of customization."
"I like the inject feature. With desktop injects, we're doing all these things and extracting these things. Its stable, scalable, and technical support is good."
"Improvement should be per customer requirements."
"Blue Prism Cloud needs to improve support, though documentation is available online. It is not detailed, which does not help."
"Lacking advance features like CIO and optical character recognition"
"The tool’s customer support should improve. There were instances where I tried to call them up and was put on hold. However, they do revert back through emails once a ticket has been issued. They should be quick with their responses on calls."
"I believe they need to become more competitive within the market in order to maintain their market share. We were essentially a Blue Prism shop and sold Blue Prism, but because of the price point, many clients are now looking at competitors."
"It takes a while to get up and running."
"Blue Prism could be more efficient in its resource use. Having one LPR agent per virtual machine wastes resources. If we could execute many applications at the same time, it would improve and optimize the resource used."
"The product’s pricing needs improvement."
"Their email service and extraction could be better. We get the input via email, and these emails contain different types of documents like Excel, PDF, or they may contain different content in the email body. Due to this variation, sometimes the email service crashes, and emails aren't redirected to Ephesoft Transact. Ephesoft has provided us with new hotfixes. Whatever flaws we found in the 2019.2 version, they have already updated it in the new version, 20.1.05, and it's already released. Drawbacks like not capturing the handwritten fields are now sorted."
"Transact could be improved by removing Java and making its pricing more accessible for smaller customers."
"It's not easy to train."
