Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The quality of both audio and video is good.""The main advantage is the ability to host large meetings with up to 500 participants. The sound quality is also better on BlueJeans. I find it pretty intuitive and user-friendly.""It is really easy and there are no complicated graphics or icons. It is simple and has an intuitive design. It's user-friendly over anything else I have used.""It is available in all flavors. You can use it in the browser, and you can use it on an Android phone for which a BlueJeans app is available. I use an Android phone, so I only know about Android. So, you can join a meeting from the application installed on your phone or from the mobile browser, or you can use it from a laptop or a PC."

"The product's most valuable feature is its ability to integrate with multiple products.""I don't think Zoom has anywhere near the features and functionality of Webex.""Lag-free video communication and virtual meeting software which runs smoothly.""The product improves team collaboration in our company since it integrates with Microsoft Teams or other vendors.""The product's initial setup phase was straightforward.""I have found Webex to be stable.""They have a feature called Call Me in which I need to type in my phone number and I can get a conference room to call my number rather than needing to dial in every time. I think that's a quite good feature.""The stability of the solution is the most important feature."

Cons
"I haven't had any big challenges. The annotation feature should be improved. So if I need to mark something or point something out, it's there, but it's not that user friendly. Other than that it's fine. In terms of collaboration, I think there could be some improvement.""BlueJeans doesn't allow as much customization of your background in a video call, so that could be improved.""Its cost is very high. If you sell it in India, which is a price-conscious market, the prices should be as per the market competition. You cannot charge the rates that are applicable in the US. They should tailor it to the local market. It should be in line with what the competition is offering.""Screen sharing is available but there is no feature for remote access, to take control of another machine."

"The user interface is not easy to use.""I was in a meeting on the free version where there were no controls. You couldn't mute somebody or put it in dedicated speaker mode. It was an important meeting, and because of the lack of an ability to control who the speakers were, we got a version of a heckler. Well, it wasn't really a heckler per se. It was just somebody who thinks they know everything.""I would like to see additional online chat capabilities""The solution’s pricing could be improved.""I would like to see more integration, with respect to some more unified communication activities.""I would like the next release to be more user-friendly.""The solution is heavy and slow.""Sometimes we've had issues with the connection."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "I once tried buying it for myself, but it was very costly. It is quite expensive as compared to other solutions. With BlueJeans, there are carrier charges if you call the toll-free number. The customer doesn't pay for the call, but the buyer or the subscriber of BlueJeans has to pay for it. That is where BlueJeans becomes very costly, and that is where Google, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom are very helpful because you don't have to pay these charges."

  • "I have recently switched to a different solution. WebEx is more costly. There are equivalent solutions at a lower cost."
  • "The price of the license depends a lot on the type of service required and whether it is for the entire company or only for a few users."
  • "Licensing is subscription-based and the cost varies depending on how many minutes are included in the plan."
  • "The pricing of this solution is fine and I am satisfied with it."
  • "Price is the one area where Webex needs to improve relative to its competitors. It's difficult to sell to small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) because of the license price."
  • "I believe the license to be monthly."
  • "There are no licensing fees."
  • "The price of the license for the solution could be less expensive."
