We performed a comparison between BotFarm and Microsoft Power Automate based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."There are not many challenges when setting up this solution, and there is a good amount of documentation to go with it."
"The initial setup is pretty straightforward."
"BotFarm is an easy solution to use and the interface is better than older versions."
"What I like most about BotFarm is that it's one of the leading RPA products in the market. Very few products focus on robotics today, so I like that BotFarm offers a lot in terms of what general customers expect it to do."
"The main features of the solution are the IQ Bot and web-based automation."
"The solution has very good processes. It's very easy to deploy and has good reviews on it. It offers good automation and the solution has very good developers working on it."
"One of the most valuable features is the solution's simple automation regarding object cloning and strings variables."
"The most valuable feature of BotFarm is the fact that we can use escalations when we need more computer power to fulfill all embargo that we receive in one day."
"The most valuable feature is that it is very easy to use."
"The best part is the automated workflow, which is quite good and easy. It is just drag-and-drop. We are able to create workflows quite quickly. We are able to directly integrate the data that it generates with Power BI dashboards. Its integration is quite good with other Microsoft tools, such as Power BI. The visualization of the data has become helpful for us."
"From my personal experience of using Microsoft Power Automate, I think that the automatic document processing feature is helpful for many organizations in streamlining administrative processes. It is a very good feature. It has helped many enterprises to process documents without spending much time on them."
"The tool is very good at implementing automation within processes. It's saved us from doing a lot of manual processes."
"I find WinAutomation's linear approach to the code and function calling valuable."
"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Power Automate in the desktop version is web scraping because you can do a lot with it. I work in retail and you can study prices changes, which can give you a lot of information. The solution is no code which is a large advantage."
"The most valuable feature is that you can run multiple automations at the same time, in parallel."
"The initial setup is pretty easy."
"The discovery suite that they just acquired could be included."
"I would like to have access to self-service support."
"I have called customer service three times and the experience has not been good. They do not offer 24/7 support, which forces us to wait till the next working day to solve a problem."
"The licensing schemes could be more competitive. They need to be much more flexible in their pricing."
"Sometimes I feel like it doesn't work properly and we are not able to provide the dexterity needed."
"When somebody is just learning this product it can be difficult for them to understand, so improvements to the user interface would be helpful."
"The OCR command needs to improve. This feature is used to convert the extracted data from an image file. While converting this file I was facing a lot of issues with the data because it was getting lost and some of the data which was extracted was mismatched. The data loss was rated as a nine and the data accuracy was a massive decrease and was up to 80%."
"I would definitely be wanting to see OCR features for improving the solution."
"For countries in our region, it's not very well known."
"While using this solution, we found it to be basic."
"I would like to see better data integration with different sources."
"It would be great if you could integrate outside of Microsoft environments."
"I think the language Microsoft Power Automate uses when you do expressions could be better. What they use is not a popular programming language. It would be better for Microsoft to find a more popular programming language, such as Python. It would take away the whole no-code aspect of the solution but you don't need to write that many lines of code to improve something in a process. Instead of no-code, they could be a low-code environment."
"Microsoft Power Automate is limited if we want to create a complex flow because we have to split the log into two flows."
"We need a more powerful desktop option."
"Enhancing Power Automate to work synchronously instead of asynchronously would eliminate the need for additional coding, saving time in project implementation."
