Cons
The way bpm's infrastructure works, you can only have one data source on a page. It has to be connected to the object and you're pretty much locked in at that point... If you want to connect anything other than what exists in that object to that object, you're going to have to create a completely new home for it in that object.

Nintex seems to be very server intensive. It is one of the reasons that we are moving to a different product on the SharePoint 2016 platform.Bring all features available from the on-premise product into the cloud version and the workflow error reporting.Converting a document from PDF to MS Word, or vice versa, needs to be improved.User interface could use some improvement. Perhaps integration with Visual Studio or SharePoint Designer would be useful.Currently, copying workflow actions from one workflow to another is not possible. Also, the Office 365 solution is not as mature as on-premise.While Nintex Workflow has pretty robust troubleshooting abilities, I think that improving the default logging and notifications would be helpful.Built-in reporting on-prem is limited and clunky at best.Hawkeye is emerging as a reporting solution, but as a V1 product it’s not very useful yet.

Our maintenance costs are reduced.Offering a licensing model that allows for multiple small workflows would be a huge improvement to an already great platform.Nintex products are expensive, but valuable. Licensing in on-premise was historically based on a perpetual model, where you’d license per Web front-end. However, they are switching exclusively to a consumption (subscription) model, where you purchase the number of workflows you think you’ll use in your environment, and can scale up from there.
