We performed a comparison between Celonis vs UiPath Process Mining based on our users’ reviews in five categories. After reading all of the collected data, you can find our conclusion below.
Comparison Results: Both solutions are very comparable. Users share favorable ratings for both, although UiPath Process Mining is considered to be more affordable than the paid version of Celonis. UiPath may also be simpler to deploy.
"Action Flows are good."
"It is a very strong and very powerful solution. You can seamlessly process a large amount of data. It doesn't take a long time to do the analysis. It provides the analysis matrix, which basically includes all the analytics that need to be performed for the transactions. You can drill down really fast within graphics. You can double click and drill down to specific areas for more details. It is very intuitive and easy to use."
"Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten. Celonis is a wonderful tool, so you cannot find any drawbacks at the right moment."
"Its usage is relatively straightforward after the UI is set up. There's a lot of pre-built analysis that can be utilized, which saves a lot of time. Overall, it is a good product."
"My two favorite features are execution management and process intelligence, which provide 360-degree data."
"Celonis is one of the best solutions on the market. It offers you a lot of training materials and exposure to its ecosystem. Celonis is trying its best to prepare an ecosystem for it because, without an ecosystem, you will not be able to scale up."
"The process mapping is most valuable to us."
"The real-time replication was just implemented and is quite useful."
"I find the root cause analysis and the reference models to be valuable features of UiPath Process Mining."
"The most valuable feature of UiPath Process Mining is the process graph, which gives you a depiction of the process and lets you know where the issues and delays are occurring."
"UiPath's human-in-the-loop features are helpful."
"UiPath Process Mining has a good roadmap ahead for the future."
"I would rate the stability of UiPath Process Mining a nine out of ten."
"I have never had issues with online technical support."
"My experience with scalability was good."
"It saves our clients a lot of time."
"The way they manage the data should also be improved. There is a lot of room for improvement there because a lot of duplicated data gets created, which should be improved. There should be ease of data management and code management."
"We want to see its linkage to Robotic Process Automation. We would also like to see how can it lead to the implementation side and whether the transition is smooth."
"The task mining feature of Celonis needs improvement because it's more challenging than it looks."
"It should be more flexible. It is not particularly flexible in the way it works, and it is quite rigid. It has some very strong structures that you have to follow. It could certainly be made more user-friendly to understand and should have fewer requirements for manipulation of the data to create the visualizations. We should also get better support from Celonis, and they also need to make the licensing model slightly different."
"The price is high for us."
"The support costs are very high."
"The Process Query Language (PQL) native language used in Celonis needs improvements. It has most of the process-related functions but we have queries from clients that cannot be done in PQL."
"I would really appreciate it if Celonis had significant compatibility with robotic process automation solutions. Once they define the process and understand it, streamline it, optimize it, and take inputs around it. When they reconfigure the process, there should be good compatibility with any of the automation tools, wherein I can integrate for robotic process automation, where I can streamline many of these processes on the application itself. Today, I need to extract this process and reload it into other tools, like UiPath, to integrate them with Automation Anywhere. If this tool can provide that efficiency, that would be great. I'm a data analytics guy. I lead a data analytics team. So technically, I would primarily look at if this can give me a visualization opportunity and integrate that in terms of the data."
"The dashboard could be improved by allowing customization and they could introduce a Mac version of the solution."
"We found that the flow chart is not very clear for some of the complex processes."
"It would be nice if UiPath's Document Understanding feature supported more languages. I don't think it supports Chinese or Japanese. We have been working in the Asia-Pacific region for a long time, and this prevents us from recommending the solution to some customers."
"The user interface could be more user intuitive."
"It would be helpful if licensing costs were reduced."
"The solution's UI and UX could be made better."
"The product could diversify into creating apps."
"Within UiPath, AI Fabric is a valuable feature, but Process Mining can be further improved with AI. AI is booming. Once they improve the AI capabilities, more and more customers will come to UiPath."
