We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The deal registration portion of the portal has been very valuable. It connects directly with our Salesforce, so it is super easy.""Since launch, our most valuable feature has been getting individual users to sign up and use our deal registration program, as well as providing a place to see all of our events globally.""The learning tracks are extremely useful and valuable; they allow us to quickly deliver enablement training, track partners, and issue certificates to those who pass a certification exam.""What I like about the solution is that they have a fast channel of communication for the customer. For every deal, you create a template prospect page, which I found useful in Allbound. You can create a specific page for an end customer or partner, and you can share it with them where they can see playbooks or download some documents created in advance. You have the possibility to see how many times the end customer or partner opened the page that you created. It's like a landing page coded with specific information.""I like the fact that I can go into Allbound and quickly update what I need to update. And I like that when we have a new initiative, something that is really important for our partners to understand, I can feature it in different places on the portal.""The referral functionality has been the most valuable for us, meaning our partners can submit leads to us via Allbound. That is really critical for us because that is how we generate new business. When a partner submits a lead to us via Allbound, it's a really hot lead for us to work on and convert.""The self-serve deal registration is excellent; companies can register for deals themselves, and the process is managed through our system.""I find it very easy to use. It has a pretty good UI. I'm relatively new, but I'm able to learn it very quickly. I'm definitely happy with the interface."

"This solution is very easy to use and does not take more than five minutes of playing around before you get a good understanding of how it works.""The most valuable features are the all-in-one package solution and it was relatively straightforward to connect to Salesforce, our CRM solution."

More Channeltivity Pros →

"The most valuable features are the reporting and the custom codes.""You can adapt Salesforce for all customer needs.""The most valuable features of Salesforce Sales Cloud are ease of use. It is very simple for the sales team to use. You can integrate it with a lot of other systems.""The most valuable features are performance and integration.""Suitable for all sizes of organizations.""This product is lightweight.""I've found lead management to be the most valuable feature of Salesforce Sales Cloud. It helps capture, track, and manage leads throughout the sales process. The tool is easy to learn.""The best features of the solution are its performance and stability."

Cons
"I wish Channel Insights had more intelligence where it not only provides data and stats but also offers more analysis and an extra layer of intelligence on the data that it has.""On the design side, there could be some more updates to make it look a little bit more modern. We right now use the classic dashboard, but we're switching to the minimal dashboard that's available to try and make the UI look a little bit prettier for our partners. In the design area, there could definitely be some improvements that partners would appreciate.""The user interface for admins could be a little bit better. Something that we appreciate a lot is that Allbound has increased some of the functionality that admins can do. That's good. But in terms of the user interface, there are still some improvements that can be made. Also from the user's perspective, the UI can be improved.""People are not able to deactivate members themselves. If someone leaves the organization, partners would like to do it themselves, but currently, they have to ask us.""The solution's UI could be improved by providing externalized access to menus, which I sometimes have to dig into. The good thing is that Allbound is doing that, I made the suggestion a while ago, and they're already implementing it. Of course, as a user, I want it to be now, not in a few weeks. Some more flexibility in UI customization would also be a welcome feature; the ability to edit coloring and place images would be excellent.""Better segmentation in terms of user rights and access. Both internal and external users can be given specific access rights and I don't feel that there are enough options and this impacts reporting and access.""The partner finder on the website is not as good as it could be.""Allbound could have more localization and customization. The templates work well, and maybe they don't want to target large enterprises by design. The solution is geared toward small and medium-sized enterprises, but they could allow more localization and deeper customization. Allbound is broad, but it could be deeper."

More Allbound Cons →

"I believe that granting more granular control over permissions within the system would help to prevent the issue we encountered.""Channeltivity are a small company and so we waited a long time for basic improvements."

More Channeltivity Cons →

"I would like to see a more affordable licensing model.""Salesforce Sales Cloud overall is too complex. There is too much functionality, it's hard for the user, at the beginning. It takes a lot of time to update the information.""As a cloud solution with web browser, it's different than my classical way of thinking. It's modern, but for older people, maybe it's not that understandable. It could be more user-friendly, maybe with an option to switch between interfaces.""When integrating Salesforce Sales Cloud with other applications it can be difficult to maintain security.""An area for improvement would be the ease of configuration.""Auto clean for duplicate leads, accounts, and contacts needs improving.""There could be an option to change the price list without creating a new quote.""The deployment of data from the development environment to production is also a weaker point because their solution is not powerful."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "This is the highest price that you'll pay, but I am not comparing it with Salesforce, SAP, or Oracle. In the mid-level solutions, Allbound has one of the highest costs, but it also has higher capabilities and flexibility to customize things without developing."
  • "Considering everything the product provides, the price is fair. There are cheaper tools, but they don't offer the combination of requirements we have. The pricing model is also very compelling."
  • "It's reasonably priced for what it can do and how much time it can save. It's a big amount of money, but for the time that it can save for people from having to do the work, it's definitely worth it. Considering the constant improvements and the features they keep adding, its price is reasonable."
  • "Allbound's price is a great deal."
  • "Its pricing is fair, especially because we can have as many partners create accounts as we want. It has a very fair price range compared to other companies that charge per partner. We've thousands, so it would just be too expensive to go with a different option."
  • "Allbound has forced other vendors to be a little more competitive with their pricing. For what you get, which is a lot, the pricing of Allbound is fine."
  • "They have different licensing plans. Depending on what you enable or what kind of features you want activated, there might be extra costs."
  • "Considering the interface, the price is high, although Allbound offers a lot. Some of my negative opinion here is because we have yet to upgrade to using the tool's best-in-class features due to internal issues. As it stands, I don't personally see the value that supports the cost, but that could change when we turn on the features."
  • More Allbound Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "The pricing is slightly above average."
  • More Channeltivity Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "The subscription is on a monthly basis."
  • "The main issue is the price. Because it's SaaS, you will have to pay on a monthly or yearly basis."
  • "It is a premium product, so it is not the cheapest solution. I think if it's implemented well, and you're getting the soft cost benefits, the efficiencies, it's justified. But not if you're looking at just apples for apples as a subscription, without the complexity that you can achieve. It can deal with complex business requirements. Some other CRMs can't. But you certainly pay, so it's a premium-charged solution. It's one of the more expensive ones."
  • "I have found Salesforce Sales Cloud to be expensive. However, it is the number one CRM solution in the world. It is worth the money."
  • "The main thing is it is costly. Salesforce it is not cheap, it's costly. Some of our customers say it is a costly solution. So, we have lost some sale opportunities regarding the high price. This is the main thing that we are facing. It is sales per user and the user price is about $150 per month, per user for the Enterprise Edition. The other edition is less than this, but it is costly. A company that has 70 or 80 users would pay more than $8,000 USD yearly because it is cloud based."
  • "My understanding is that Salesforce is a little bit expensive, but in terms of the efficiencies, automation, and visibility, I think it's definitely value for money."
  • "Implementation and add-ons may be additional costs."
  • "Being license based, the license varies by type. The pricing is considered average."
