We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We enjoy having an inside view of all the data centers and all the EdgeX nodes within a single portal rather than going into the EdgeX connections one by one.""Intersight can validate our environment.""I like Intersight because of the integration with HashiCorp, Kubernetes, and each cloud because Intersight is the IO module.""The tool helps to manage Cisco servers.""Provides an overall view using a single portal.""Our organization uses Cisco Intersight since it helps manage our physical infrastructure.""Scalable portfolio of services for remote device management, with good cloud integration. It's also easy to set up.""What I like most about Cisco Intersight is its manageability."

"The most valuable feature is the performance parameters of the system.""The application performance monitoring feature is valuable.""I like that it's very simple to install, easy to manage and deploy, and easy to use for monitoring.""Nagios Core is very configurable. Whatever you want, you can do it.""Our customers like that Nagios Core is an open source solution. It can be customized to our customers' specific needs.""Nagios Core is stable.""The most valuable feature depends on the project. It's great if you need to check to ensure a service is running 24/7. I can use the full solution for free, and it's flexible. If I need to add a dashboard, I can integrate it with Nagios. Cloud synchronization is wonderful.""Nagios monitors our servers, so we know if anything goes wrong and can solve the problem before it happens."

Cons
"The usability must be better.""The product could be easy to use.""When new features are added, the service becomes full of bugs.""An area for improvement in Cisco Intersight is automation. It needs more automation capabilities. Apart from enhanced automation, I want Cisco Intersight to integrate with third-party monitoring tools in its next release.""Cisco Intersight needs some improvement in terms of stability. Hybrid cloud management and proper hyperscaler tie-up are other areas for improvement.""It's a very complex solution.""The unique problem with Cisco Intersight is that it's not supporting some players.""The solution needs some enhancement in order to build the cluster in two nodes."

More Cisco Intersight Cons →

"Would benefit from aggregations if a particular server goes down.""We're using the free version, which limits us in terms of the things that we can do. If we had the paid version, a lot of our issues would probably go away. For example, we can't isolate instances that are being built or updated with the production ones. When they're being built, on Nagios, they're showing in red. It'd be nice to be able to partition those off until they're all green, and then we can bring them into the environment. This is probably because we've got the free version and not the paid version. If we went for the paid version, it would probably allow us to do exactly what we want to or remove the restrictions that we have, but if we are able to isolate instances in the free version, it would make life much easier.""It would be nice if the company offered a sales or contract manager that was dedicated to our company so that we would have some sort of link to Nagios, and if we had issues or questions, we'd be able to contact them directly.""I would like to see a sensor that shows the traffic of a user and what they're doing on the network.""I would like to see more training videos.""The mapping is a little hard.""The tool needs to improve the integrations.""Nagios Core does not have a graphic display."
