Pros
"I like Intersight because of the integration with HashiCorp, Kubernetes, and each cloud because Intersight is the IO module.""Our organization uses Cisco Intersight since it helps manage our physical infrastructure.""What I like most about Cisco Intersight is its manageability.""The product has good integration.""Intersight can validate our environment.""Scalable portfolio of services for remote device management, with good cloud integration. It's also easy to set up.""Cisco Intersight has valuable features for workflow automation and inventory administration.""We enjoy having an inside view of all the data centers and all the EdgeX nodes within a single portal rather than going into the EdgeX connections one by one."

"I have found that the reporting feature in Zabbix is most valuable. Additionally, the solution has given us bandwidth options, we are able to see where problems are. For example, we noticed a problem that occurred because of a bad interface going in the wireless VLAN.""Our customers also like that they don't have to use multiple modules. Micro Focus and major vendors typically require you to buy several modules and plugins. Our customers do not like that. We offer them a single product for all their monitoring needs.""It has good graphs of what is going on within the operating system.""Zabbix has a roadmap and they are continuously and frequently adding new features.""During my testing, the features that I like the most are that it can be integrated with my system, and it provides me with reports of all of my servers.""The solution allows you to configure and customize how you want to collect information from servers or other systems.""Setup was straightforward. Initial deployment took two or three months.""We use it to monitor and manage our servers."

Cons
"The unique problem with Cisco Intersight is that it's not supporting some players.""The product's setup should be easier.""The usability must be better.""When new features are added, the service becomes full of bugs.""The solution needs some enhancement in order to build the cluster in two nodes.""The product could be easy to use.""Cisco Intersight needs some improvement in terms of stability. Hybrid cloud management and proper hyperscaler tie-up are other areas for improvement.""It's a very complex solution."

More Cisco Intersight Cons →

"Zabbix isn't a great tool for cloud-specific monitoring - its connection to public clouds needs to be improved. Other areas for improvement would be the lack of dashboards and integrations.""The integration of the product is not so easy, especially when it comes to the application database.""I had problems using Zabbix when working with SUSE Enterprise; many companies use SUSE.""There's a small module of APM, however, it is not an enhanced version. People usually ask for a full-fledged APM solution.""In an upcoming release, there should be automated reports which we are currently doing manually. For example, if we collect a report file every day and want to send it to a moderator for review. We are expecting this feature to come out soon but it would be valuable to have now.""Zabbix is powerful, but it is difficult to understand initially. There are many things that can be improved, but we might not be using Zabbix to its fullest extent. The software has more features than we need.""The GUI could be more intuitive. Also, we'd like streaming telemetry. Zabbix might have this feature, but I haven't seen it yet. It took us a long time to get started because the documentation isn't very descriptive. We had to go through various sources like YouTube and forums to get this solution working.""For us, the initial setup was complex"

I have researched a quite a few network monitoring tools which can be used for various monitoring purposes of not only the servers, but the intermediate routers as well. There are majorly three types of these softwares. Ones which are completely open-source, you can do almost anything you want using these, but they require quite some expertise before you can use them. Then there are the ones that are not open source, the enterprise softwares and cost you some money, but on the other hand, they are extremely easy to set-up and learn. You can have them up and running in a matter of minutes. And then there are those which are completely cloud based. They can be free of cost or charge some money depending on the software. The good thing about these is that you don’t have to install any extra software, and it can be managed completely online but then again these have limited features and you cannot exploit them to the full extent as you can do with the open-source and to some extent the enterprise software, so I won’t suggest you to use these, because these are generally not the complete solutions and require other support software to achieve the same. Below I have listed the outstanding pros and cons of the various Network analyzers that you can look into Nagios Pros: Nagios offers an extensive set of collector plug-ins that allows users to gather performance and availability data from a broad range of operating systems, including  Windows and Netware Nagios… Read more →
