"Technical support has been good so far. We haven't had any issues with them. We're satisfied with the level of service they provide our company."
"We can configure the Cisco UCS Manager, the profiles and interactions with the resource we manage."
"What I like most about Cisco UCS Manager is the ease of administration. It also allows the central management of maintenance, installation, and configuration activities."
"When one server fails, we can attach the service profile to a new server, which saves a lot of time."
"Cisco UCS Manager is overall a good package because it gives a GUI interface and a CLI."
"Ease of management is certainly the most valuable feature in this product."
"The solution is highly scalable, mainly because of the templates that make it easy for you to actually edit on the system."
"PagerDuty's notification process is the most valuable feature."
"The initial setup is straightforward."
"Alert deduplication and noise reduction for alerts are the major features that I found useful."
"The initial setup is a simple process."
"Notification is the most valuable feature."
"PagerDuty's best features are the dedicated application that allows me to reach my engineers immediately and the ability to directly assign specific tasks to individuals and have them report back."
"The alerts are immediate in this solution, which allows us to respond to errors quickly."
"The most valuable features of PagerDuty are customization, access, policies, and different rules regarding the path of escalation. Additionally, it's easy to use and create overrides. For example, if you all are on a call for one week each, but somebody wants to go on PTO, the team needs to swap shifts in PagerDuty. This is easy to do by creating overrides to switch up the set schedules. It's very user-friendly in that aspect. It works well for monitoring and alerting."
"Its user interface can be improved. It can be more user-friendly."
"Upgrading the firmware is a difficult procedure."
"I want to be able to schedule multiple sequential updates in one go."
"The integration with other solutions could be better. I think Cisco can only integrate using Intersight. There is a second interface available as a SaaS platform, in the cloud, or on-premise. It's based on the Redfish protocol, which is standard for all the B-series servers in the market. We can integrate other solutions using API."
"There is room for improvement in the software part of Cisco UCS Manager. It should be more user-friendly, especially when creating policies."
"The interface and the way it is constructed is very complex. They should work to simplify it. It's quite difficult for somebody who doesn't know the product very well. Users should be able to get proficient with it faster. There's definitely room for improvement there."
"Cisco UCS is expensive compared to others. The Cisco UCS Chassis is more expensive than a standalone server, but some companies require standalone servers because of their production load and affordability. You need to pay more if you require more features on the Blade or if you need more ports on the switch."
"The solution's pricing is high and could be reduced."
"I am not a direct end user of PagerDuty. It's hard to consider its shortcomings in that sense."
"The user interface could be more intuitive."
"PagerDuty should be integrated with other tools, so it can import the IT roster automatically. Our other rules continue to work once they're configured, but the roster must be added manually."
"They could include incident merging and alert grouping features in the product."
"The biggest area for improvement with PagerDuty is noise suppression. There have been a handful of incidents through our use of PagerDuty over the years where one incident may lead to 30 to 50 pages because you're monitoring all these different things, and each thing is an individual page. There should be the ability to set up paging tiers and group correlations between some of the different pages. That is something that would be really valuable. We should be able to say this one page may have a group or a tree of effective other pages that may tier off of it. So, if you see those pages independently, go ahead and alarm, but if you see this plus that, don't do that."
"I would like to see more content in the notification messages; although, that might be a configuration on our end."
"It cannot be integrated with our upgraded Jira system."
"The product can be improved by including out-of-the-box integration with other standard tools used in our fields such as Confluence, and Jira."
