We performed a comparison between MSP360 Backup and Quorum OnQ based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Cloud Backup solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."One massive advantage of this solution, as compared to more enterprise products, is that no firewall changes are needed on the client's premises. For the product to back up from the client's premise to the cloud, it just needs port 8 and port 443, which are anyway always open. This was one of the things that made us decide to go with the product. It is very difficult to justify a firewall change for a small client who doesn't even know what a firewall is and how to maintain a firewall, or doesn't have anybody maintaining their firewall. You then have to maintain the firewall. MSP360 Backup takes away firewall change requirements, VPNs, or channels that are needed for the backup."
"Client-side encryption minimizes worries about data being captured on the back-end."
"The solution is simple to use and easy to configure."
"MSP360 Backup's most valuable feature is its backup interface."
"I was mainly concerned with cloud backups, OneDrive backups, consumer OneDrive, business OneDrive, Google backups, and SharePoint backups. The solution did a good job of the backup."
"Provides connectivity to a lot of different cloud storage solutions."
"The solution is easy to access and handles things efficiently."
"It has allowed me to implement a cost effective, highly configurable solution."
"It does automated tests to the systems to make sure that you could spin them up if you needed to. And if something doesn't come back up in those tests, we get a notification saying the system didn't come back up."
"A very high level security environment for secondary data."
"It is a stable solution."
"The solution is very cost effective."
"The biggest feature is being able to do a file recovery to the original server. That is extremely useful and has saved us a few times when we've had ransomware. In some of those cases, people's computers were locked down by viruses which spread to things they had access to, including server shares. But we were easily able to just restore to four hours prior, instead of a day or two or more ago."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is its ease of use."
"Being able to spin up a machine in a sandbox is amazing because it allows us to test things that we otherwise would not be able to do."
"I have used the BMR (Bare Metal Restore) in several emergencies and it has absolutely saved my bacon."
"The graphics are looking a bit old and should be updated."
"The initial setup is a little complex as it has to be done in the office and requires someone to come in and install the solution on your server, then configure the scheduling, backup pushing, and so on."
"The solution needs a better graphical user interface. It's a graphical user interface that is very old-school right now. They could give it a little more modern feel."
"We could basically use just a more concise visual dashboard reporting on the status of the various machines."
"Maybe implement an easier interface for basic users. For example, a set-up wizard with all the commonly used features as default."
"The restore time could improve. When we had an issue the restore time was lengthy."
"The solution's pricing is very high."
"As for what can be improved, some reports could be simplified so that you know how much backup you have done and what your backup details are. That report is available but it is very tough to get. I would like to know "today I have just uploaded 35 MB, tomorrow I have loaded 10 MB so my trend of backup is increasing.""
"There seems to be a lack of technicians. Sometimes they are very busy and I don't hear back for a day or two. The technicians they have are great. They are fantastic, but it seems difficult, at times, to get in contact with anyone."
"They need integration with other platforms."
"The cost could be reduced."
"The user interface needs to be improved."
"Lacks compatibility in terms of supporting other OS."
"I don't love the scheduler, as I think that interface could use an overhaul."
"I would like to see iSCSI support added so that NAS storage servers could be protected. We heavily utilize NAS storage and the risk there is minimal backup options. Currently, we are backing up NAS to NAS which is costly and slow. Being able to integrate NAS server backup would be the last item on my Quorum bucket list."
"I paid for subscription of Firewall. I paid for subscription of endpoint protection. Thet should introduce single subscription for all services."
