We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The solution is stable. It is great in terms of Oracle products, especially for Oracle databases.""From a performance perspective, the management capabilities of the product are very valuable to its customers.""The solution helps database tuning through query ID and SQL ID; we can fine-tune skill parameters and gather information to enhance operational analysis and performance.""It is a highly stable solution. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.""The tool is mainly for monitoring databases, especially focusing on performance. It supports various databases, including Oracle, allowing daily activity monitoring. The solution enables displaying performance metrics, providing continuous tracking. It also offers management capabilities for connected databases, featuring graphical performance graphs. Users can perform tasks like killing sessions and controlling database elements. Additionally, it allows viewing tables, SAN disks, and other database components.""If you're using Oracle products, you should definitely use Oracle Enterprise Manager because it is central to product management.""The tool's most valuable feature is notifications. It is also flexible in defining metrics where you can specify any metric type. Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control helps monitor the resources you manage so that you do not overpay.""The solution is reliable."

"The product is easy to use in terms of monitoring all the environments. It works for multiple clouds.""We are able to create an internal price of the product that we can then sell to clients. We get the cost plan at a good discount and then resell it with a mark up to our enterprise-level clients. This flexibility in pricing is one of the solution's best features.""It's stable. For report presentation, it's been fast.""This solution is fast and very easy to understand, even if you are not a technician.""The most valuable thing I have found is the cost saving recommendations""The solution is useful for cloud transparency and visibility in reports and dashboards that I have generated, especially the pre-populated dashboards.""The solution is good for cloud cost management.""We use dashboards quite heavily, but one of the features that have really stood out is some of the policies we've created to alert us of particular situations."

Cons
"Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control manages the monitoring and the graphs. Other tools complement the base monitoring. Zabbix is efficient with space pressure.""Because this solution provides insight into all of the areas within the IT stack, it would benefit from enhancements in security.""One area where Oracle EMCC could improve is file import flexibility.""Sometimes the alerts are coming a bit late, for example, an alert for the CPU. It depends on the threshold that you have, how long you want to check the CPU of the machine. I got some faulty alerts with Data Guard. I had stopped a synchronization for maintenance and then I re-synchronized Oracle Data Guard. It took some time to appear in Enterprise Manager and send me the right notification that Data Guard was up and running and synchronizing. I realized this because I went directly into the database to check the status of Data Guard, and it was telling me that it was running okay. But in Enterprise Manager, it needed some more time to update the interface.""Because all our banking infrastructure is based on Oracle, I’ve tried to register Enterprise Manager on the middleware level, let's say, WebLogic applications. But I cannot say that I can do all the administration from Enterprise Manager, that I can do from the WebLogic Admin Console. So, I think here it needs some improvement: Things that you can do on the WebLogic Admin Console, you should be able to do them on the Enterprise Manager, so you don’t have to log into the Admin Console.""The initial setup depends on your experience. For example, for people who are doing it for the first time, it's probably difficult.""You cannot use Enterprise Manager as replacement for a WebLogic console.""There is a lack from the point of view of monitoring on the system. The performance of the system and its resources are things that I think can be improved. There needs to be real-time monitoring available on the solution."

"I would like to see better integration from CloudHealth to create easier setup and implementation.""If you are working with the OS you need help and other connectors to get more information.""The export features regarding CSV files and specifically around identifying savings plans have room for improvement, as well as the drill-down features for reservation utilization.""The performance and accuracy of Cloud Health need to be improved.""They should provide information or tools to tune the cloud resources according to the environment size.""It would be helpful to have a mobile version or a tablet version, especially for people who are outside of the office.""The Perspectives feature could be better.""CloudHealth needs to start building out Turbonomics-types of features that help the customers who are using CloudHealth really understand everything down to the server level, the virtual machine level."
