Find out what your peers are saying about Microsoft, Forcepoint, Broadcom and others in Data Loss Prevention (DLP)."Security tools: Being able to monitor data going in and coming off our endpoints. Seeing what it is and where it's going is awesome."
"Code42 Next-Gen DLP is scalable."
"There are a couple of things. One of them is that they have what they call Incydr. Their detection and response solution to the insider threat area is called Incydr. That gives visibility to the clients that have widely dispersed employee bases due to work from home, or that had a dispersed workforce predating any of the work from home requirements. Even though they might not be inside the organization physically, they're inside the organization. It allows us to get some visibility into what people are doing, what the context is, and how to control what might be the potential for intellectual property theft or file exposure."
"It required very little ongoing maintenance once setup."
"Risk factors can be adjusted for all intricate details."
"The solution is very stable. Very rarely do we have any issues with it. We don't have to deal with bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. We find it to be reliable."
"Backup and recovery have been great, but I love having the ability to keep the hybrid type build which they offer."
"It has quite a bit of flexibility in configuring backup sets."
"Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is reliable and easy to use."
"The product is easy-to-use."
"The most valuable feature is the built-in integration with Office 365, which helps us protect email accounts and servers. We use it on virtual servers on the cloud with Azure, or we can use an agent on physical servers."
"The scalability is good."
"The most valuable feature is the capability to back up not only to the cloud but also to your local environment so a copy of your data can be kept on-prem."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"The most valuable feature of Veeam Backup for Office 365 is the backups, we do not want to lose any files. Each one of the files is updated on a regular long-term basis and kept together in the Microsoft cloud-only."
"Its ability to restore at the item level is very valuable. It is very strong at that. In the past, we had to restore a lot of data only for a couple of items. We can now restore an item as well as an email, which is good for productivity."
"I would like to see more flexibility on privileges, perhaps create another kind of admin for regions. Also, I would like the ability to access logs without having to be on the actual device or a super-admin."
"The application, written in Java, required far more system resources on a Client than other solutions."
"Reporting could use an overhaul. It is very limited."
"I think one we can improve is the compression."
"You can't always filter out data that you'd like to."
"What I think could be improved is how I get support."
"Java, please get rid of Java."
"Due to recent changes that effectively abandoned an entire segment of their user base, I no longer trust nor can recommend Code42 products."
"If clients are backing up onto tape, Veeam's newest versions don't really deal with that."
"Pricing is an area for improvement, and I would rate it at five out of ten."
"It's a new product. It's not mature."
"This solution does provide the option to choose a different target of storage."
"It requires quite an amount of infrastructure. You have to set up the instance, and you need to know quite a bit about Microsoft 365 authentication. For some customers, it is a challenge."
"When using Veeam Backup for Office 365 when there is a server that's running, I have to have a hard drive installed on it. For example, if I want to use another storage solution, I can't incorporate it very well. If I want to use SMB or other protocols I cannot use them with the Veeam Backup for Office 365. They have the support in the other Veeam Backup and Restore solutions, but it doesn't support it in this solution. Hopefully, in the future, they figured it out."
"The documentation for the installation is good. However, if you are new to the environment the installation could be difficult. The first time we did it it took approximately four days."
"If you use a device to back up with compression and duplication, the solution doesn't work."
