We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:
The ability to access Comindware Tracker from mobile has been greatly valuable to our organization. We are often out of office and this can create timeframe and task management issues. Being able to access tasks and time tracking while on the move is a great asset.
This solution can be useful for tracking the different stages of projects and the people working on them.
Customize workflow processes visually and interactively.
The most valuable feature is that any non-technical personnel can easily work on the solution, redefining processes and creating drag and drop workflows according to the department or cross-department needs.
The feature I have found most valuable is the easy synchronization with other tools.
The configurable dashboard analytics and reporting capabilities ensure timely decision making.
The clean interface, prioritization, and private task lists aren't present in other solutions.
This software added transparency to our workflows. It helped with increasing throughput of clients and their satisfaction.
We were able to meet all of the requirements for functionality that were specified, and we did not experience challenges where we had to compromise on functionality.
It has helped us a lot, especially during the initial phase of a project where most of the things are done on paper.
It creates workflows to handle business processes. It allows us to route approvals to users without human intervention.
Our solutions using Nintex has been most successful in automating HR processes because it allows you to easily and rapidly build solutions that conform to the unique business processes for each entity.
This tool set makes it easy to integrate current processes and increase adoption rates and usage for the tool, as well as the process changes to update it on the fly.
It provides data accuracy with fewer failures.
It saves time as tasks are automated.
Only Nintex has the feature which allows attachments to an email.
The initial setup can be quite slow and finicky.
There are not very many report templates, and if there were more, it would really help.
This solution lacks API integration with some popular websites.
The UX/UI could be reviewed and revamped to meet new the criteria of Digitalization and Innovation.
If your organization has only a few team members then this tool is not suitable.
The initial setup seemed a bit complex, and there is no great documentation.
Figuring out how to integrate defined teams or groups into this system is difficult, and there are no contextual menus.
The OpenAPI is good, but it is not enough. It lacks out-of-box integrations with popular web services.
The security features for this solution need to be improved.
We are currently facing a lot of issues with Nintex, and we are trying to move away from this solution.
Nintex seems to be very server intensive. It is one of the reasons that we are moving to a different product on the SharePoint 2016 platform.
Bring all features available from the on-premise product into the cloud version and the workflow error reporting.
Converting a document from PDF to MS Word, or vice versa, needs to be improved.
User interface could use some improvement. Perhaps integration with Visual Studio or SharePoint Designer would be useful.
Currently, copying workflow actions from one workflow to another is not possible. Also, the Office 365 solution is not as mature as on-premise.
While Nintex Workflow has pretty robust troubleshooting abilities, I think that improving the default logging and notifications would be helpful.
Pricing and Cost Advice
Great value for the money.
This solution has a very lost cost.
The pricing and licensing is as per market standards, except that the process of extending licenses is also easy.
The price is so reasonable.
I benefit from this software by getting a variety of reporting options and features for a relatively low cost
The annual support costs are expensive.
Our maintenance costs are reduced.
Offering a licensing model that allows for multiple small workflows would be a huge improvement to an already great platform.
Nintex products are expensive, but valuable. Licensing in on-premise was historically based on a perpetual model, where you’d license per Web front-end. However, they are switching exclusively to a consumption (subscription) model, where you purchase the number of workflows you think you’ll use in your environment, and can scale up from there.
