We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I love this software because this software helps me to increase team productivity day-by-day.""The most valuable feature is that any non-technical personnel can easily work on the solution, redefining processes and creating drag and drop workflows according to the department or cross-department needs.""The clean interface, prioritization, and private task lists aren't present in other solutions.""The ability to access Comindware Tracker from mobile has been greatly valuable to our organization. We are often out of office and this can create timeframe and task management issues. Being able to access tasks and time tracking while on the move is a great asset.""The configurable dashboard analytics and reporting capabilities ensure timely decision making.""It provides a scalable solution that should allow me to grow my company without too much fuss or further set up required.""This solution can be useful for tracking the different stages of projects and the people working on them.""The workflow tracker helps us to track our staff's workflow. It helps us to improve the productivity of our team."

"When it comes to the speed of development of the applications with Zudy VINYL it has been the fastest and most powerful that I've been able to do. We've tried building things from scratch. It takes an enormous amount of time. We've cut that time by probably a fifth, with more power. I've been very happy with the speed of doing things in Zudy VINYL.""We have been able to leverage the platform to rapidly build custom solutions, and tailor-make them to our needs.""There are two most valuable features: one is the ability to pull data from a bunch of different places and put them together. And the second is the speed at which you can get a new app developed. So instead of waiting months for this new app to come out, if you have an internal team putting it together, you can roll it out in weeks. I've even seen days. It's incredible how fast you can make changes.""It is very scalable from its licensing to design. We have not had any performance issues when scaling.""You can unite data which lives in different sources without moving that data.""It's made things seamless and it's more efficient, and there's an audit trail where it wasn't there before.""Vinyl has been a game changer in how we can now quickly deploy key features and new products.""This is an extremely scalable solution because it enables us to interface with all types of disparate information."

Cons
"I would like them to offer a one-time payment plan that one can choose.""If your organization has only a few team members then this tool is not suitable.""The OpenAPI is good, but it is not enough. It lacks out-of-box integrations with popular web services.""I am expecting new updates to improve the software.""Figuring out how to integrate defined teams or groups into this system is difficult, and there are no contextual menus.""The initial setup can be quite slow and finicky.""This solution lacks API integration with some popular websites.""The initial setup seemed a bit complex, and there is no great documentation."

"I sometimes find formatting tricky to get the front end of an app the way I want it.""There are a lot of almost "hidden" features captured in these Edge Case settings... If you want a scroll bar at the bottom, instead of having it select rows to show, you have to select Disable Panel Location Service, which doesn't sound at all like what it's supposed to do. Naming conventions could be changed a little bit.""Some new features I think I'd like to see is visibility into running jobs so that we can see what the status is, or it's not stuck in its process and doing its thing, or how much longer it's going to take. I'd also like to see a native calendaring function so we can put calendars into our apps with maybe even recurring tasks or appointments and that sort of thing. We'd also like to see multi-select lists. The users being able to pick multiple things to filter on and get a list and be able to export that list.""The ease of use for individuals to self-serve could be improved. The solution is no-code, but there is still a decent learning curve associated with the product and some app design principles necessary before people can self-serve.""If it could be prettier, it might be a bit more attractive on the business side. The most meaningful improvement might be done in some of the aesthetics of the reporting and dashboarding.""I'd like to see the next release of VINYL have more user interface solutions to it, so that it could be a more user-friendly product on the front end for the customers that are utilizing the tool. We didn't have a solution to help automate all of our reporting in the past which identified the need to make sure that we could tap into our data sources and automate all of our reporting, which is exactly why we needed the tool.""I would love to have the home screen a little more customizable because, as we're building more and more reports, it would be nice to have more options in how they're organized on the screen.""The features that I'd like to see in VINYL next would be the ability to have more control over, or have a rule-based control over column headings and column labels."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Price per user works for me when they do not count my clients, which fill forms."
  • "Setup cost is reasonable and average on the market. They offer simple licensing and price per user."
  • "The price is so reasonable."
  • "I benefit from this software by getting a variety of reporting options and features for a relatively low cost"
  • "The pricing and licensing is as per market standards, except that the process of extending licenses is also easy."
  • "This solution has a very lost cost."
  • "Great value for the money."
  • More Comindware Tracker Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "It is affordable."
  • "You always look for the underlying cost, there's always underlying costs but the value is fine. I don't think it should cost any more. You pay for the software but you're also paying for their employees, when they work onsite for you."
  • "Pricing is less than the cost of a consultant and the value you receive is much greater."
  • "Pricing was actually one of the things that drew us to the product initially... the way it was licensed at the time, I got a flat monthly fee from Zudy for the Vinyl product, which allowed me to basically have unlimited use of it... We have an annual license, we pay monthly. It's very competitive and very worthwhile given the return we get out of it."
  • "The key thing here is that the pricing is just one price. We can do as much or as little with the product as we want to which is very attractive. I don't have to worry about if I build a new app, I have to pay more. Or, if I put 20 more people logging into the app, I don't have to pay any extra for that either."
  • "I feel the product’s pricing is a good value. The licensing model is very straightforward. You license the platform and you can build however many solutions you want with it."
  • "We have seen a 30 percent decrease in time for some of our workflows."
  • "Pricing and licensing are expensive."
