Overview
CommonTime mDesign now allows for hosting in the cloud, using a service such as Amazon Web Services. This can be managed directly by CommonTime and provides a quicker and more cost-effective method of implementing the mDesign platform and deployment of mDesign apps. With this latest SaaS functionality, organisations can dramatically reduce the capital costs of deploying apps, as the infrastructure requirements are almost totally negated. Upfront service costs are usually also reduced due to the comparative ease of installation and management. mDesign 6.1 provides some significant mobile application management (MAM) features which allows users and administrators to manage their application estates more effectively. These include:- Improvements in Push Notifications - GPS, Logging, Settings, Wipe and Custom - Implemented on all clients and Command line utilities on server.
