We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
The interface is easy to use which makes the product user-friendly.The setup and installation is much simpler now, because Dell has standardized the configure process.I think that Dell EMC is one of the best technical support services in Ukraine. It is just as stable as any other high-end solution.Technical support is very good. I do use it from time to time and it's always excellent. The solution is stable; we've had no problems at all.

This is a superior and reliable backup system that can handle large capacities with little management. The backup is very secure. The deduplication using EMC is very good. We are able to make systems and handle random cloning. EMC is a very stable solution for making backups. The product provides good backup and compression services. The solution's most valuable feature is the integrated deduplication function. It's very easy to use the domain once it's been set up. The interface is also user-friendly.The most valuable features are the deduplication and compression and the Data Domain Boost. We have never had any issues with Data Domain. It has been stable. The initial setup was straightforward. Deployment takes about two weeks.

Cons
The connection should be better integrated with the network to offer a better view of the system.Compellent comes in the form of a component that's not true of a unified storage platform. While the price is competitive, in the next release it would be better if they could reduce the fees.I don't think the solution is very scalable. The cost of the solution could be better. The lower model, the 3000, should have duplication. It doesn't right now. It's only from 5000 that this is offered, but it depends on the performance. It could be they don't offer it on lower models because the duplication is too much of a burden to the performance.

The product lacks some security features that would make it more stand-alone and integrated. They should reduce the CPC cost to customers. The product is becoming very expensive. The licensing model was the biggest concern for our company, but the poor support after the initial implementation is of equal concern. The pricing could be better, but it's still not too expensive. The firmware upgrades could be simplified. I'm in the process of struggling to upgrade right now.We have had deduplication and replication issues. When we used another backup software we noticed that it didn't have the same issues. We are not able to deal directly with the OEM we have to go to their partners in Nigeria. The pricing model needs to be improved.

This is one of the more expensive backup solutions on the market. There are many options in the pricing structure which can cause some confusion and necessitate the purchase of additional licensing. In Naira it was twenty-five or twenty-seven million (approximately $75,000 USD) for the implementation and maintenance cost for three years.Pricing is related to size. A lower range solution might be about $33,000. My customers use higher range versions with a price of around $100,000. That's the price for both the hardware and software. It is expensive, but the performance and deduplication cover for the cost.
