We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It's a very good IT tool for a company that provides IT services. It is very helpful for technicians to work with the tool to see all of the customers in one place and then manage all of the computers in one place.""It's definitely improved the help-desk servicing, et cetera.""Scripting and patch management are really important for us. Patch Manager is something that we use a lot, and we would love to have it continually improved. It is one of the most useful features for us for controlling patches and other things for different clients.""Maybe they could improve the capability to be multi-tenant.""This product saves us a lot of time and increases our efficiency.""It is very scalable.""A good automated scripts feature.""The implementation is nice and easy."

"The solution is stable and reliable.""I like the fact that Splunk APM makes it easy to connect to the application database and run queries against the data.""Splunk's dashboards are great.""It is a good tool. It allows you to set alerts for application and infrastructure monitoring, and it allows you to create dashboards.""The volume it handles is very good, including the number of metrics, the volume number of traces, and more.""The most beneficial aspect of Slunk APM is the ATM, which is the map displaying the inbound and outbound relationships of the microservices, as well as the traffic between these dependencies. This feature provides us with valuable insights and helps us understand the interactions between different microservices.""The features are pretty much ready out of the box.""The most valuable features are troubleshooting and optimizing application performance."

Cons
"The fixed client for Automate is slow. The web client is not very intuitive.""I have a problem with the reports available on the solution. I don't understand how to work with the reporting functionality. For example, when I want to give a report for a specific machine, ConnectWise doesn't seem to have this as an option. I'm not sure if I'm missing something, or if the reporting functionality is just poorly conceived.""Patching and reporting need improvements, especially reporting. The reporting engine is quite outdated, so you end up having to use your own dashboard.""They could use some automated alerts particularly when we're talking about an MSP that might shoot over.""Scheduling of automation could be improved and made more simple.""The project management needs improvement and there's a section of the product called configuration that also needs to be improved.""There could be better linkages between ConnectWise Automate and Manage from a ticketing perspective. Automate and Manage each has its own ticketing system. We use the one in Manage, but it'd be nice if they were linked directly to the one in Automate.""They always change the GUI to some dumb-down version of tiles which are more "user-friendly", but slows my team down in the end."

More ConnectWise Automate Cons →

"The UI enhancements could be a way to improve the solution in the future.""We currently lack log analysis capabilities in Splunk APM.""Primarily, the logs in Slunk APM can be challenging to navigate and comprehend, making it difficult to understand the details within each log. Compared to other tools like LogDNA, which are more intuitive in this aspect, the logs in Slunk APM can require more effort to understand.""The cardinality is pretty low.""They can improve the flow system and the keyword language. It has predefined keywords, but they can be improved.""The monitoring of workloads when using SignalFx could be improved.""It is essential for the monitoring tool to deliver quick response times when generating analytical reports, instead of prolonged delays.""Splunk APM's performance could be improved - at the moment, it's very slow and takes forever to give me what I want."
