"Express in default configuration mode with first turn-on is easy to set up and deploy from a medium installation standpoint.""One feature that differentiates Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar from some other vendors is the fact that on-premise OmniVista licenses are perpetual.""There is a definite ROI with this product. This product creates a baseline of technology that will be a means to grow from five to ten years from now. By using this solution, it is an investment on the installation of that baseline.""We are very satisfied with the performance.""The initial setup is pretty straightforward.""I have worked with different solutions in the past and switched to Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar because of its quick installation time. It requires no additional preparation. The product is highly stable. I rate it a nine out of ten. The support of this solution is great. The timeliness of their responses is crucial for me. When I raise an issue, I can count on receiving a prompt reply, eliminating the need for extensive online searches or phone calls.""The solution allows you to see the SNMP packets, the DPI packets, and the SNMP server.""The features aren't much different than those in Aruba, but deployment is easier to configure and the pricing is better."

Cons
"The price could be better.""Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points’ support services need improvement.""Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) could improve if the MIST platform had a built-in master key. This would be an advantage.""I need a bit more time with it before criticizing the features.""They should include SD-WAN features to it.""Juniper Wireless AP can improve by continually improving its reporting and integration with other systems.""The pricing is very high in the Indian market.""Improving third-party integration is key for Juniper Mist's next release."

More Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points Cons →

"Better integration with third-party systems is what our customers are expecting in the future.""If the customers plan to go on the cloud side, they need encryption and daily communications from a security perspective.""I would prefer to have the integrated heat map feature provided by the basic controller in the Solution instead of purchasing an external one. Accessing this capability directly within the controller's access point would be convenient.""Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar's radio management side could be improved.""The current implementation of our Guest Access network in isolation for Express mode is very complicated in comparison with leading market solutions.""It needs to be faster in order to process and transmit bigger packets.""There are occasional OS bugs.""It is not possible to integrate Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar with third-party software like Opera, a property management system (PMS)."

More Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar Cons →

"D-Link Wireless’s stability needs improvement.""The support offered by the product needs to be faster with better technical personnel.""The only issue is with the controller visibility of the devices connecting to the network.""Sometimes we configure the SSID with a password but the same AP shows two WiFi connections with the same SSID name (one is protected by a password and another one give access without a password).""Sometimes, the solution needs to be restarted.""D-Link has some catching up to do in terms of advancing and improving its technology.""In future, it would also be good to have a switch within D Link that works as well as the Cisco 9200 Switch.""The solution doesn't have hotspots. Users can't set it up so that visitors can log in via Facebook or social media as they can at, for example, airports. D-Link should include hotspots that offer integration with social media. That way, visitors don't need to be asking people for passwords. They can just use Facebook."

  • "The price is in the range of other brands like Cisco, maybe a little cheaper but you get the same features, facilities, and security. Licensing is something Alcatel is making changes to.
