We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"When it comes to energy consumption they're also very good. They don't use power because they're power-hungry, but because we use them very hard.""The iDRAC for remote access is the most useful feature because it's built into the machine. I can reboot them without having to be there physically. We do a lot of what we do remotely, and it handles that fine.""Ease of use.""The core strength of Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers lies in their expansive connectivity and seamless integration with other offerings within the Dell product ecosystem.""We particularly appreciate the iDRAC feature, especially in its latest versions, for its capabilities in remote server management and comprehensive monitoring.""These web servers were easily manageable from as early as 2003. We have a very large building, and it was possible to manage them remotely in a simple way from as early as 2003.""It is quite stable. We didn't have a single downtime of failure. Nor have we ever experienced any downtime in electrical components or the hardware. In this way, the server is reliable.""One of the key reasons we integrate Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers, particularly the ID Rack model, is for its remote monitoring and administration capabilities."

Cons
"There can be more visibility on the equipment remotely.""The cost can be improved. For other use cases, we use Hitachi servers, which are a little cheaper but have similar functionality.""Lately, we feel that we need an improvement in our servers. Surprisingly, we have seen some servers here that do meet these characteristics. They are slightly smaller servers.""It's more from the pandemic, however, the logistics part of it could be better.""Overall, the solution is excellent, though Dell could improve the monitoring.""I would appreciate the capability to carry out live updates without the need to take the system offline.""The versions that I work with, they used to max out on memory, on RAM, quickly, so I'd want to think in the newer versions, they actually allocate more processing power and more RAM to them.""The way we can manage the environment through the solution's GUI could be improved."
