We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.

"The most outstanding aspect of DigitalOcean is its user interface and ease of use. Compared to more complex solutions, such as AWS, DigitalOcean's platform is highly intuitive and user-friendly.""The solution is very stable.""The solution is easy to set up.""I like Kubernetes integration.""It's been a good choice for us for some services. We generally have several deployments. For instance, for some static Angular applications, it was a clear choice to run them on Cloudflare, which performs very well in this context. All the assets go on DigitalOcean.""The most valuable feature is the ease with which you can create a phishing server and use it.""The user interface is nice, and it is very easy to use. Anyone can use it.""The customer support team are very responsive."

Cons
"The solution could improve by having integration with GitHub.""Other solutions are proving the monitoring feature, like AWS having GuardDuty and SAP having services for logs and monitoring. DigitalOcean doesn’t have any other benefits.""The technical support for this solution could be improved.""The issue with DigitalOcean is primarily the latency. So, when you have a mixed system with some components staying here, and then we encounter network latency, it's not optimal. Our""We found the solution to be a bit expensive.""I think something needs to be done in terms of technical support.""I would like to see improvements to the logging and user interface. The verification process could be more streamlined.""I would like to see an automation feature added to send emails out using the open-source solution."

More DigitalOcean Cons →

"The biggest challenge I'm having with the cloud offering is the sizing. So, pricing becomes difficult. The sizing challenge is in terms of being very clear on how your data growth or your requirements would be. It becomes a bit difficult to be able to ensure that there's enough future proofing in what you've signed. At the same time, the whole idea behind the cloud is to be able to pay for what you use. You don't want to pay for something that you're not using.""The customization and the requests put through were not flexible enough.""They could add more features.""The product could use some more development and maturity so it has more peripheral functionality already integrated.""The setup was not simple.""OCI's user interface is awful and needs to be modernized.""It does require some training in order to be able to use it effectively.""Sometimes when we install something, we need to partition and maybe rebuild the index. This can cause some issues for performance. In the future, I would like to see more stability and fewer bugs."
