Advanced level endpoint firewall, which helps to block unwanted and malicious traffic.
What is great about ESET is the ERA Web Console through which we can pull various reports, monitor and administer all clients and servers, and the console is easy to use.
A feature we like is setting the GUI of ESET Endpoint Security/ESET File Security to silent mode because some servers and clients can have performance issues.
We use ESET, which is pretty much perfect for us. It is also absolutely simple and automatic once setup.
We have not picked up a bug yet, because we use ESET, which is a tried and proven system.
It is absolutely invisible once running.
It effectively catches unwanted stuff. It has saved our bacon over many years.
Easy to use security solution, helps to secure connected devices against viruses in the digital world.
Deployment and centralized management are essential for us because of the number of loads that we have along with the number of geographic locations where we are based.
It has improved our performance and deployment.
It is very efficient. I like its simplicity.
Anti-virus, including anti-spam, trojan, and worm detection and prevention. Kaspersky has a comprehensive virus definition update which is very helpful for threat prevention.
Kaspersky Enterprise solution's combined protections have helped to block a lot of malware which would have caused a lot of interruptions in our operations.
It allows for a solid form of risk management as well as a measure of remote device management.
The user interface is easy to maintain once it is setup.
Especially the firewalling, I found useful, as you can control the applications and services on a granular level to tell them where they have access to or not.
ESET should consider giving it application control.
They need to improve licensing for VMs. When ESET is uninstalled from a VM, the seat stays on the license management server. We have to manually delete the seat from that server because it doesn't know how to handle it. I contacted exclusive ESET support here in Croatia and they told me there is no solution for this yet.
iOS compatibility for mobile security and parental control.
I would like to see machine learning and AI as added features.
There are some features built into Kaspersky that do not work at all, so we have to use other products instead.
We would like to know where attacks are coming from.
It is hard to maintain the software and upgrade.
The need to re-engineer the source code to reduce CPU and memory usage. Other areas for improvement include a data-loss prevention solution, enhanced application control, enhanced device control, an endpoint encryption solution, an advanced persistent threats (APT) solution, and an all-in-one solution with one pricing scheme for corporate and enterprise business needs.
The solution is very draining on the computers at certain moments in its operation, excluding the scanning periods that make the computer unusable until finished. It is a balance between economic protection and client machine performance to our users.
Utilizing the CPU usages during the scan process needs to be improved.
Malware protection for Kaspersky should be revolutionized, where they no longer work with signatures, but with more advanced ways of detecting malware, such as Cylance or Traps from Palo Alto.
Pricing and Cost Advice
The cost is a very reasonable. When compared with other products, the price is low (though not very low).
ESET is perfect, if you can afford it.
Pricing per month, for security services as apps in CEE pricing: up to €2 monthly is OK.
I received a very good deal with Kaspersky.
It is cost effective.
It is quite standard, because we use the volume licensing.
The licensing is based per agent. You can get discounts if you have more agents.
Pricing is very competitive and licensing is very much ethical.
