We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
This solution blocks the brand new malware threats. In terms of the current global landscape, it is a great solution.Advanced level endpoint firewall, which helps to block unwanted and malicious traffic. What is great about ESET is the ERA Web Console through which we can pull various reports, monitor and administer all clients and servers, and the console is easy to use.A feature we like is setting the GUI of ESET Endpoint Security/ESET File Security to silent mode because some servers and clients can have performance issues. We use ESET, which is pretty much perfect for us. It is also absolutely simple and automatic once setup. We have not picked up a bug yet, because we use ESET, which is a tried and proven system. It is absolutely invisible once running.

Endpoint Protection is the next generation. It covers antivirus, spamware, ransomware...The fact that it has centralized management is the most valuable feature. The technical support is very good. They have an Indian support team, so there are no delays in receiving support.Symantec has cloud-based endpoint protection, so whether a user is off the network or on the network, the endpoint will be protected by the cloud. When they started they found it very easy; not easy to implement but easy to use. We started with the headquarters here and later we also implemented it for all the subsidiaries in the region, in other countries. They have a centralized solution, so they can help other countries in management.I find it is the most reliable solution on the market. It is a stable product. We never expect downtime. There is also great ease of use for my admins.

Cons
I would like them to use AI features to do preventative virus protection.ESET should consider giving it application control. They need to improve licensing for VMs. When ESET is uninstalled from a VM, the seat stays on the license management server. We have to manually delete the seat from that server because it doesn't know how to handle it. I contacted exclusive ESET support here in Croatia and they told me there is no solution for this yet.iOS compatibility for mobile security and parental control.

Any external device which is inserted into a computer should be subject to an auto-scan policy, to automatically scan it before accepting the device... They need to make it more user-friendly, so that when anyone puts in a USB stick it will be scanned, popping up any problems before it is used.About four years back, Symantec's signature was very heavy and their signature patch was around 200MB or 300MB files. There are a few negative points. They should separate the feature for each separate solution for mobile devices. The second one is about the price, it's expensive. Finally, the third would be the complexity of implementation.I think the CPU dependence should be enhanced.Sometimes tech support is a bit slow to find a solution. It seems that its not working very well with VMWare. It's not cheap. It would be nice to be able to manage the endpoints a bit further. A valuable attribute would be the management of software inventory, software deployment, and third-party software deployment. I would like to see the ability to deploy and delete unlicensed software. Many users try to install what they shouldn't, so that would be really useful.

Pricing and Cost Advice
At first, we thought it was a bit expensive, but we negotiated a better price. The cost is a very reasonable. When compared with other products, the price is low (though not very low).ESET is perfect, if you can afford it.Pricing per month, for security services as apps in CEE pricing: up to €2 monthly is OK.

Pricing and licensing for our country is very good. It's not that expensive and the endpoint security is very good. It's not as cheap as some others, but they are not as good.We pay on a yearly basis...Zero-day threat or advanced attacks should be part of the endpoint. The product should not require you to buy a separate license. Each annual client license is around 1200 or 1600 INR.Pricing and licensing are important to us when choosing a product. It's not cheap. It is the better product, even if it is a little on the higher side.Licensing is per user. Therefore, it makes it easy to do licensing.
