We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"When it comes to email, Google has a very good anti-spam engine or solution. We get very less spams. We don't have to use an external anti-spam solution with this.""G Suite and all of Google were the first to have a built-in multifactor authentication without needing to purchase another product.""The document sharing in which multiple people can work on the same document. To go along with that is the archiving of documents. If you mess up a document, it's easy to go get a previous version.""Google Apps for Business and Skype for Business are the perfect solutions for every business thriving online. It is very easy and inexpensive to get work done with these applications online.""Extremely reliable, providing great collaboration features.""G Suite is a powerful suite of tools for messaging and collaboration that has met the fundamental needs of my company, both increasing productivity and reducing costs.""It's certainly easier to meet. We have offices around the world and the ability to have a company meeting on Google Meet platform makes it a whole lot easier to actually have everybody virtually in one room at the same time.""In terms of email, I could probably do the same things with other programs, however, I find 90% of my usage is Gmail."

"The online version is faster, as it is a cloud instance. We can have massive mailbox capacity: 100 GB per user, which is huge. We can't provision such capacity internally, as the company would get burnt out paying for mailbox storage.""Tech support has been great, when necessary.""Exchange Online plays a significant role in our business. It controls all our emails, so we'd be in a lot of trouble if we didn't have that. It's an essential product.""The best thing about Microsoft Exchange Online is that it's integrated with the Outlook application.""Message trace is the most valuable feature of the product.""The solution has been stable with good performance on offer.""The solution is easy to access, and you can bring your own device to access from anywhere.""Microsoft Exchange Online is a very stable solution."

Cons
"Everything is online, so you don't have a client on your desk. Working on email is online work, so can't do work offline and go back online. Sometimes it's not so intuitive. If you answer an email, it puts your answer at the bottom of the existing email.""The solution is not user-friendly and it doesn't integrate that well with Microsoft Office, which is one of the bigger business apps on the market, compared to Google Sheets and applications of that sort.""I don't recommend Google Workspace to others. It's expensive. Also, Google doesn't have enough oversight on their partners, so you will face some difficulties dealing with them instead of directly with Google.""Sometimes, I would like to be able to use the solution offline, and I can't do so. It would be ideal if there was some sort of offline mode available.""Some people complain that Google Mail is inflexible. It was advanced 10 years ago, but other solutions are cleaner and clearer.""I found that there is no desktop application for this solution, and that's a major fault of this application.""Google needs to improve its support.""We use Zoom most of the time for official meetings, and we use Google Meet only for internal meetings. I would like to get an improvised Google Meet. It would be good if they can make Google Meet more clear in communication and more scalable like Zoom."

"The problem with Exchange is that the attributes aren't flexible enough. I'd like to see more interaction with Office 365 and tighter integration between on-prem Exchange and Exchange Online. There's still a disconnect between mailboxes and the cloud.""For example, recently there were some spam incidents that Microsoft does not currently mitigate because they have another paid solution to do so. It would be nice to integrate the security and the anti-spam (i.e. the fake links, etc.) along with the Exchange Online default.""The demo version we were provided had issues with emails bouncing or being delayed.""The mail-blocking feature is not great and could be improved.""The product needs to embed AI for intelligent searches and analytics.""I have found that Microsoft has vulnerabilities when it comes to Exchange Online. It has become the port of a lot of hacker attacks.""Microsoft Exchange Online could improve the management usage, it should be more user-friendly.""The solution could improve by making the user interface better."
