Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"IceWarp has multiple applications that are easy to use for many people.""It's scalable and stable.""Its price is the most valuable. It is definitely one of the lowest price solutions.""The most valuable feature of IceWarp is the chat rooms and file-sharing, they are useful. It is convenient that everything is in one place. You can easily share and collaborate documents, making the program's unity a significant advantage.""An effective, functional, very good tool for controlling resources.""The product is used very extensively in my company since we have around 1,500 users using it. Also, there is no requirement for any administrators to manage the product by the people who own the solution.""The solution's voice services work well for our company.""It has great communication capabilities for team chatting and web conferences."

"Microsoft has a very good support team.""It has a feature that allows you to retain an email and recover it as an administrator. When you activate this feature, even if a user deletes an email, the email is still in the system, and we can retrieve it as an administrator. It is a very useful function. We turn this feature on for some of the mailboxes because we need to keep all the records. I like the way emails are classified in this solution. It makes it really easy to take a look at the most important messages. This is a really good functionality. Some of the emails directly exchanged with you are marked as important and shown in one tab, and everything else is in another tab. We usually don't have any issue with Exchange. It can be integrated with different solutions.""The interface is user-friendly.""Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""The email management system is very easy to set up, configure, and use.""The best features are that Exchange is very customer-friendly, its interface is self-explanatory, it doesn't hang, and it keeps evolving.""The functionality on the user side is quite good. Exchange provides an excellent platform for collaboration between users.""Exchange's interface is good. All of our engineers like it and are accustomed to using it."

Cons
"The tool's configuration capabilities are not straightforward. Apart from that, if I want to archive emails into a vault so that they can be retrieved again later, the integration doesn't work, and IceWarp crashes.""It is difficult to disable user rights on the console so some users accidentally delete their documents or user details.""Although it is not a tool, video conferencing should be scalable and operate in a professional and efficient way.""Our customers sometimes have problems receiving mail.""Although the documentation is extensive and in depth, you must familiarize yourself with it before taking full advantage of the product.""I would like to have a trial for mobile applications and more documentation similar to Google Drive with mobile applications.""The solution should improve the mailing list feature. Google has a similar feature where you can automate sending files to different people in a sequence, but that feature is no longer available in the current version of IceWarp. Other features may also have been removed in the current version.""The exchange compatibility mode is rather limited. Their technical support can also be better. They only provide online support, and there should be some option for escalating."

More IceWarp Cons →

"In terms of what should be improved, they should probably move to a cloud option like Office 365. We would like to get this functionality without the need to deploy complex hardware and software solutions. This should be the next thing, making Exchange more related to Office products, which are more cloud-oriented, less on-premise or desktop-oriented solutions, like the direction Google is strongly moving towards.""The default storage capacity is too small.""Exchange took time to be deployed. It requires extensive configuration and setting up servers and managing internal network access.""From a security point of view, Microsoft should enhance the new features. Technical support could also be better.""The solution is stable, but it could improve. It's crashing if there is a big mail database. The Zimbra solution is better in this area.""One thing for improvement would be to have an offline version of Exchange available for use if our connection goes down.""The support needs to be more knowledgeable.""If it was the same product, and slightly cheaper, that would be amazing."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Pricing and licensing is very competitive and in some cases, cheap."
  • "Costs far less than other solutions."
  • "It is definitely one of the lowest price solutions."
  • "Our licensing is on a yearly basis. There were no additional costs."
  • "The license is based on the number of users."
  • "There are various licensing plans available based on geographic zone."
  • "The solution is inexpensive which is its main benefit."
  • "The solution is priced well."
  • More IceWarp Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "They are flexible when it comes to pricing, unlike most of the other vendors I have dealt with."
  • "It's working very well. There is no problem, but the price is not the best."
  • "Its price is okay."
  • "It's a little bit expensive."
  • "Its price is very affordable, and basically, it is the standard of the industry. We have the Exchange 365 subscription, which includes the usage of Exchange Online. I don't know the specific cost, but it is the retail price of Microsoft 365 E3 licenses. Microsoft's licensing is not very easy to understand. Microsoft changes rules every other day, which makes it difficult for us to understand the licensing not only for Exchange but also for other products. It can sometimes be really complex to understand what you need to have in order to comply with Microsoft licensing."
  • "Microsoft doesn't have a unit price, it's based on the quantity, and they offer great discounts."
  • "We are currently using enterprise licenses for the solution. They are different pricing models available. There are individual, cloud-based, and enterprise licenses all with different pricing models. The larger the number of users, the lesser the price. For small to medium companies like us, we feel it is expensive."
  • "Its price is fair."
