"The posting features are valuable.""The design of the solution is its most valuable feature.""Yammer is useful since it is a product you can easily integrate into our system since Microsoft supports it.""The user interface and the way we can share and search information are the most valuable. It is very easy to use.""I find it quite simple and intuitive. It's similar to using a more user-friendly interface for SharePoint. It integrates seamlessly with the browser, so you hardly notice you're using it.""The integration with Teams is the biggest value for us. In fact, it has only become more valuable now that it has integration with Teams. Teams allows you to stream, so that's good.""The most valuable feature of Yammer is its integration with all the services of Office 365.""The most valuable feature of Yammer is its interface."

Cons
"The implementation could be made easier.""There needs to be a restriction on who can download content.""The product should allow users to assign tasks and automate processes.""The conferencing feature does not work well with multiple parties or locations."

More Workplace by Facebook Cons →

"The interface is clunky and could be improved.""I would like to see a fancier user interface. That is one of the weak points of Yammer.""Yammer should be able to integrate with Microsoft products, such as Outlook.""Although Microsoft is working on it, having a centralized network instead of creating multiple networks based on a domain would help businesses with multiple companies or child companies.""Yammer has very limited features.""We tried to integrate into SharePoint, but it was not really efficient.""Users need to be in the Acting Directory to exploit the features.""The solution must be able to stream by itself, without integration, the same way that you are able to do it on Facebook Live, Instagram, etc. Streaming must be embedded into it."

Adis wrote a great post, summarizing his thoughts on SharePoint and Yammer integration and the upcoming social future. I totally agree with Adis, there are a lot of things missing at the moment. But here my thoughts on Yammer vs. SPSocial Leak of integration In my eyes there is still too much missing, of course you can integrate yammer into your SharePoint, but key features are missing such as SSO, seamless look ‘n feel integration. Prebuild views on Yammer depending on the current SharePoint context or the mobile story. Microsoft shipped mobile Apps for SharePoint 2013 OnDemand and OnPrem. AFAIK are these apps currently available in preview, but each of them is based on SPSocial. SharePoint… Read more →
