We performed a comparison between Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention and Zscaler DLP based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."We receive a lot of insights from this product."
"The scalability is fantastic. One of the things that I like about Forcepoint is that I can customize the solution to suit my objectives."
"The product is user-friendly."
"The feature I found most valuable is the DLP. We are using it to do encryptions."
"The solution is easy to manage."
"The most valuable feature of Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is the OCR."
"The initial setup process went well."
"We like the ability to customize our requirements and rules, as well as its ease of use and management. It also has a cloud feature and proxy functionality."
"The UI is easy to use."
"The initial setup is easy."
"The customer service and support are very good."
"It is a very scalable solution. Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"The most valuable aspect of Zscaler Cloud DLP is its automatic DLP feature."
"The policies are very easy to implement."
"Its impressive scalability allows the combination of multiple dictionaries and using them as one engine, resulting in narrower data loss gaps."
"It's one of the easier products on the market as far as set-ups and deployments. Even across their whole product suite, they've made it pretty simple."
"Usually for the biome of a small company, like 50 users, setup takes more than one week."
"The solution's interface is still not user-friendly for some customers. So, its interface can be better."
"It would be wonderful if the solution could develop more AI and machine learning capabilities. It would also be good if the solution was able to integrate with other ML and AI solutions. Right now, this is lacking."
"The user-friendliness of the interface in formulating DLP policies could be improved. An example would be managing policies. It's a little daunting at first, and can be confusing, at times, when it comes to how to set things up and how to add policies. They could improve on that."
"I would like to see improvement in the reporting. We can only get one week's worth of data; we can't get more than that. Also, the reporting console is very slow, making it very frustrating to use."
"Their discovery or the way they discover the data at risk can also be improved. There are many database servers that are not supported by Forcepoint."
"I'd like the data classification to be better."
"The solution lacks sufficient customization."
"Price-wise, it is a costly product and it should be reduced."
"On the improvement side, when we bypass certain internet traffic types, it's currently recommended to have a one-click option, but audio and video aren't always supported. Thus, we need to bypass that kind of traffic. So, it is an area of improvement."
"The tool must provide IP-blocking features."
"We have issues with the tool's maintenance and networking. It should be able to work in offline mode as well."
"You won't find anything that can help you with the configuration part and other areas related to the product if you search for proper or exact details of Zscaler Cloud DLP online in very easy language."
"The only issue with Zscaler Cloud DLP is that it only gives you DLP protection from web traffic, which is flowing out, while a full-blown DLP solution such as Forcepoint or Symantec gives you DLP coverage for multiple channels. Zscaler Cloud DLP doesn't give you coverage for email, fax, and USB channels, and this is the only challenge or room for improvement in the solution. It's just an extension on top of what you're buying on the proxy, so it's just an added layer, and it doesn't cover DLP on a very broad level. I'm unsure if Zcaler is in the business of competing with a full-blown DLP solution, and if there's a plan to expand the features of Zscaler Cloud DLP beyond the web channel because you'll have to deploy a full-blown agent for it. I'm unsure if this is on the cards because the solution is just an added layer that you get with your proxy. I've asked the Zcaler team whether there's a plan to go full DLP in the future, but I didn't get a positive response. There isn't any feature I'd like added to Zscaler Cloud DLP currently, because anything you could think of that should be in cloud or SaaS solutions is already there, except for machine learning, as it's the only functionality that seems to be lacking in the solution. Machine learning is an additional policy available in other DLP solutions in the market, but my team didn't find it in Zscaler Cloud DLP."
"They should work on a replica account. There could be alerts and replica files sent to the DLP team during data collection."
"Zscaler Cloud DLP needs to improve its compatibility with other security tools."
