Pros
The antiviral sandboxing.Once deployed, the management console is simple and easy to use.For the most part, the solution, when set up correctly, works fine. The most valuable feature is the categorization, where you can allow general access to an application but limit specific features. In terms of functionality, Forcepoint is the best web proxy available. The most valuable feature of Forcepoint Web Security is creating the easy to install further policies that are deployed through the Forcepoint security manual at some stage. Just drag and drop and the policies are there. It has protected clients against cyberattacks.Giving visibility to people's actions in the network, while keeping attackers out: across data centers, offices, branches, and the cloud.

The most valuable features are the website blocking capability and SSL interception. It is quite scalable. If a user needs to do more deployments, they can just add them.In terms of most valuable features, I like the ICAP capability and URL filtering the most. It's nice to have it in the cloud where we can pull the reporting together for it so we can see what's happening in machines at different locations. The most valuable feature is the endpoint security.

Cons
Sometimes attacks or a new ransomware gets through. In the on-premises version, I don't like the deployment and structuring of the device.Overall the software is occupying too much memory space. If they could remedy that, it would be a better experience, because today Windows is occupying too much memory space as well (in terms of the RAM), and this software has also started occupying all the memory. Due to this, I have less space for my other office products and data. I can't, for example, operate a huge Excel sheet or other datasets. The deployment is a bit complex and it requires expertise to deploy, which is something that should be improved and made easier to do.The solution should be better able to support itself and operate faster. Sometimes the technical support team takes too long to respond. The firewall doesn't have any features because some customers are requesting they will install the firewall without licensing. At this time we cannot go further without licensing. Licensing is a must with Forcepoint Web Security firewalls.Ease of use could be improved.

The interface could be made more user-friendly.Difficult and time-consuming to deploy and update.Depending on the severity of the issue, I think they can be a bit slow - a few days for the low severity cases, but for the severe cases normally they contact you back in a couple of hours. It needs to be easier to set up rules for what sites it should allow or not allow us in certain areas of our computer for programs. It would also be nice really nice to have it give you better information about what it's finding. A lot of the alerts we get are very difficult to understand what it's actually telling you. It's too generic. There's a need for increased firewall functionality and capabilities. I'm not seeing a competitive Symantec cloud product. Specifically, functionalities with security as filtering from the cloud. I am aware that there is a product, a proxy in the cloud but I have compared it with other vendors and I don't find it that powerful. I think the worst thing that we're experiencing is very poor and inadequate technical support. It seems to me that tech support engineers aren't qualified to fulfill their job duties.
