We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It's an ideal gateway solution for small and medium businesses, i.e., around 300 devices can be easily handled.""The solution has good performance."

More Netgate TNSR Pros →

"FortiClient has good signatures, good protection and, up until recently, it integrated really well with our firewall.""The solution is easy to configure and manage.""It is a stable solution.""Overall Fortinet FortiClient has good functionality.""When the user gets authenticated, I can assign a different VPN or network to each user.""The product is user-friendly.""The integration capabilities are good.""Having a centralized console is a valuable feature. The Fortinet fabric is also very valuable where all different pieces talk together to secure our network and track the North, South, East, and West movement of files and data through our network."

More Fortinet FortiClient Pros →

"It is a robust solution. You can scale it up as per your requirement."

More Lumen MPLS IP VPN Pros →

Cons
"There must be a more easy-to-use GUI."

More Netgate TNSR Cons →

"I would like to see endpoint detection and response included.""There isn't much to improve in terms of features and comparison with other vendors. It just needs to stay more up to date in catching the malware. The user interface may be improved, which would be a minor enhancement. Unlike central management, in endpoint security, the end users don't need to keep looking at the endpoint user interface. The technology is the most important thing in endpoint security.""The solution requires skillful users.""The software inventory part is not yet up-to-date. It doesn't have a great interface, which is a disadvantage. I wish we could leverage it, but we don't use it at all because it's not that reliable.""With the lower-end licenses, it tends to kick you out after eight hours. There is a function where it automatically kicks you out after eight hours. They could improve that and not kick you out after eight hours. Other than that, it is already pretty good.""We've got one client where it was blocking the smartphones, and there's a way to set it up on Fortigate that's supposed to do that. However, it didn't work with them since they had a 2FA multi-factor.""The solution should have faster turnaround when it comes to new technology.""I would like for the next release to be more user-friendly for users to do not have as much of a technical background."

"It should have better integration with other platforms. With the internet, very few innovations can be there, but there are some solutions that can be integrated into the solutions that we provide"
