Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"HelpSystems Powertech's feature that I have found most valuable is its flexibility. It is able to be extended. A lot of the products these days, especially the ones on the cloud, are limited and can't handle all the use cases. Often there is not even a way to customize the application to meet uncommon use cases and HelpSystems provides an infrastructure that lends itself to the ability to be customized."

"Security and administration for any new/current access.""It is a scalable product.""It provides a lot of out-of-the-box functionalities. You don't have to do too much custom development like other solutions such as Microsoft or NetIQ. It also has a lot of out-of-the-box connectors for different sources, directories, databases, etc. Its cloud version is working very well, and its pricing is okay. Its value for money is fine for most of the customers. It is also very flexible. They have frequent new releases and patches for fixing errors and things like that.""The big one now is that they're adding AI and machine learning to figure out automated approvals and make recommendations to their reviewers. So, if I bring up Doug McPherson and it says he has access to this application, the system will make a review based on peer group analysis. That's one of the biggest new things. The problem used to be that people would get everything loaded on, and they created too much work for themselves. Now, they can use these policies and start to let the machine pick the less risky things.""Good life cycle management, segregation of duties, and analytics features.""User provisioning and the role management features are good.""It offers a single source of truth. Everything can be handled from one tier.""The basic concept is most valuable. I like how they have designed the solution. They create an Identity Cube, and then they do all the processes and configuration around the Identity Cube."

Cons
"In terms of what could be improved, I would say the support of the product. It's hard to get support for it. I think this is emblematic of the fact that they don't have a lot of employees who have long-term experience with it."

"The UI is complex.""The product has poor reporting and analytic capabilities. Reports are not easy to use and its analytic capabilities are limited.""The UI needs to be more user friendly. More concentration on historical policy violations would be great. In terms of new features, I would like to see artificial intelligence and machine language added.""Some setups should be done in the interface and in the code, and could be made simpler.""Competitors are advancing by offering integrated solutions encompassing access and privileged access management in a single unified platform. IdentityIQ's focus has remained primarily on identity and access governance, neglecting to expand its offerings to include these additional functionalities within its existing product. Enhancing their product by incorporating modules for access management, privileged access management, and third-party access governance could address this gap.""We faced some issues while integrating the solution with a third-party tool.""What it doesn't do is provide notice in the event of a vulnerability or offense from the security.""There is a need for further enhancements, specifically in the multifactor authentication capabilities."
