Pros
"I like that it not only has the ability to monitor but that it can do a lot of specific Citrix monitoring.""Offers a diversity of features."

"It is user-friendly. It is more effective than other solutions. The support and help for troubleshooting and the documentation from Splunk make it very effective.""We used it to create a custom anomaly detection data model to monitor the activity of our back-end services on an hourly basis relative to the past three months of activity.""It can log more logs than other solutions. It's a good way to troubleshoot problems.""The log aggregation is great.""Splunk has facilitated the correlation of information security logs to look for incidents which could cause damage to the company's infrastructure, as well as financial losses from leaks.""The integration is seamless with many devices and operating systems.""It has the ability to correlate data, analyze and review it.""We primarily use it to correlate logs throughout the enterprise for both searching and use in investigations."

Cons
"I would love to be able to tell what ISP the user is coming from.""Issues with generating reports; consistency is not there."

More Goliath Performance Monitor Cons →

"Integrating tools and creating use cases could be easier. It's hard for a junior security engineer with only a couple of years of experience to write use cases. They can do it, but it's much easier in a solution like IBM QRadar. Setting conditions is like a multiple-choice type of thing. It's a more user-friendly process.""The level of scalability depends on the license you have. You can expand or reduce it based on the environment. It does cost more money to scale, however.""A lot of people are averse to using new tools so if they make it even more user-friendly than it already is, I think that could go a long way.""If possible, we would like to have not only a log monitoring system but a network monitoring feature in this solution as well.""While there aren't any major areas where the solution has to be improved, there are certain integrations that are still not available. I would specifically like to see legacy applications integrated.""Some of the queries are difficult to run and have room for improvement.""I'd say I am happy with the technical support, not elated. They provide great support, but sometimes they don't have the answers that I need.""The price has room for improvement."
