Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature is the UEM capabilities.""There has been a noticeable increase in productivity for both my organization and clients.""As the solution is a software as a service, the scalability is unlimited.""It allows our clients to have the confidence to centrally manage policies for security. It helps them in securing the organization from a technology aspect.""Agile and easy to deploy MDM solution that covers the maximum number of policies. Stable, scalable, and with knowledgeable technical support.""The most valuable feature of Microsoft Intune is having all our devices compliant with our policies.""Compliance and the policies that can be set are the most valuable features.""In terms of technical support, you will get an immediate response."

"The solution is primarily used for single control and single sign which helps with the security and authentication of multiple devices.""Google Cloud Identity uses what they call organizational units (OUs) instead of the security groups you'd find in Microsoft's Entra.""Google is always on its own. Google Cloud Identity is pretty good on every point.""The Cloud Identity is well advanced in terms of features, applications, and the components that it is offering.""The initial setup is easy.""Although we have not looked at the whole product and explored it completely, we find that all the authentication features that we are using now are valuable.""I think the first thing that is great is that it gives you a lot of features, like login, and then vaulted passwords and secure LDAP. It becomes easier for the end customer to leverage all those features without going to a higher SKU of G Suite.""The most valuable feature of Google Cloud Identity is its stability."

"It's effective in what it is able to achieve and it's easy to use.""The user interface is user-friendly.""The company provides great customer service.""The most valuable features of MobileIron UEM are tunneling and enterprise integration.""The most valuable feature is that everything is in one place, which makes it easy to manage."

Cons
"Intune's areas for improvement revolve around security and certificate management.""They need to add more group policies. Intune currently does not have many group policies that you can deploy. Its reporting, which is very limited at the moment, also needs improvement. It will be great if they can add report customization. Its stability needs to be improved. Sometimes, when you register a device in Intune, it doesn't show up instantly on the engine portal on the admin side. They need to provide better support for complicated issues. They also have a long turnaround time.""Its configuration is fairly complicated. You have to do quite a bit of discovery to be able to deploy it for a customer. You have to ask them a lot of questions. So, its initial deployment is the biggest challenge. They should make it easier to deploy with the use of Wizards or something else. During the deployment stage, there could be profiles for the customers who are particularly wanting to use certain feature sets of Intune.""There can be delays in the deployment of new policies.""Microsoft Intune could improve by being more user-friendly and having it geared toward device management. The graphic interface is not very good.""An area for improvement is the absence of seamless integration, particularly with external dashboards.""It doesn't economize when you scale up. We have over 14,000 employees, and we have between 7,500 and 8,000 city-owned or personal devices being used to conduct city business. Its price can be improved. It is not a cheap solution.""China blocks Google and Google Play Store, which makes installation challenging. Microsoft Intune is a company software, which has to be installed to the app portal or Microsoft Software Center."

More Microsoft Intune Cons →

"Technical support is slow.""The one place it could be improved is the password vaulting. The password vaulting does not prevent the admins from reading users' passwords, and that's a debate.""I would like to see more integration in future releases.""The management of external users needs to be introduced in the tool as it is an area of concern in the tool presently.""In the next release, I would like to see integration with different systems, mainly wireless SIEMS and other analytical systems that we want to introduce.""I want the tool to improve its support. It should also incorporate some functionalities. Currently, preparing presentations in Google is a pain point. The tool’s certain features like user provisioning are not intuitive as well. The product’s LDAP support is very poor. Clients do not trust the product due to the spam.""Google Cloud Identify could make the technology used easier to understand as a layman making it more user-friendly.""The interface could be more user-friendly."

More Google Cloud Identity Cons →

"The integration between the MobileIron and Advanced Neurons isn't completely in sync, and we're still working on that.""UI needs an upgrade, feels very outdated.""MobileIron UEM could improve the monitoring of devices.""The interface is complicated and not very easy to use.""We would like the initial setup to be simpler."

    Reviews from Real Users

Microsoft Intune stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its ability to secure all devices under its management and the flexibility that the solution offers its users.

A computing services manager notes, "Its security is most valuable. It gives us a way to secure devices, not only those that are steady. We do have a few tablets and other devices, and it is a way for us to secure these devices and manage them. We know they're out there and what's their status. We can manage their life cycle and verify that they're updated properly."

The head of IT engineering at a financial services company writes, "The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types: we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager (MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company details on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."

Cloud Identity is an Identity as a Service (IDaaS) and enterprise mobility management (EMM) product. It offers the identity services and endpoint administration that are available in G Suite as a stand-alone product. As an administrator, you can use Cloud Identity to manage your users, apps, and devices from a central location - the Google Admin console.
