We performed a comparison between Google Kubernetes Engine and Tufin Orchestration Suite based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about Red Hat, Amazon Web Services (AWS), VMware and others in Container Management."Before using this solution, it was a lot of manual tasks and a lot of people participated in the process."
"The main advantage of GKE is that it is a managed service. This means that Google is responsible for managing the master node in the Kubernetes cluster system. As a result, we can focus on deploying applications to the slaves, while Google handles any updates and security patches. The fact that GKE is fully integrated into the Google ecosystem, including solutions such as BigQuery and VertexAI. This makes it easier for us to integrate these tools into our process. This integration ultimately speeds up our time to market and reduces the time and effort spent on managing infrastructure. The managed aspect of GKE allows us to simply deploy and utilize it without having to worry about the technicalities of infrastructure management."
"Google Kubernetes Engine is used for orchestrating Docker containers. We have 30 or 40 customers working with this solution now. We'll probably see 10 to 15 percent growth in the number of customers using Google Kubernetes Engine in the future."
"Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) takes care of managing Kubernetes, including the main control plane. It also offers solutions for monitoring resources and handling external traffic, which is essential for us. Being a cloud-native solution, it relieves us from worrying about these operational aspects."
"Google Kubernetes Engine's most valuable features are microservices and its acquisition rate, which is very useful for scaling perspective."
"The product’s dashboard is very intuitive."
"It's easy to manage and deploy. It's the best."
"Stability-wise, this solution is really good."
"Its ability to detect changes within our firewall."
"We are using the visibility with notifications on every firewall change and what those changes were. We have visibility to see who is making the changes, and when."
"The features I have found most valuable are its capability to check on the firewall and the routers. Afterwards it checks out all the configs, checks the vulnerabilities, checks the risks - it checks everything that may end up causing our router to be compromised. At the end it recommendations what we should do."
"The APIs are the most valuable feature of this solution, as they facilitate integration with ServiceNow and other solutions."
"The automated reporting on a regular basis is helping us to be compliant with legal requirements."
"The change workflow process is flexible and customizable. We have one guy who has never logged into Tufin ever in his life. He sits down and in 30 minutes had written an automation routine, then went back and changed it. He did that with no training. For me, that is a major benefit."
"The solution's most valuable features are its security policy and steps for deployment."
"This solution provides a more organized manner for us to track towards compliance for our PCI audits."
"The product's stability is an area of concern where improvements are required."
"The pricing could be more competitive. It should be cheaper."
"t is not very stable."
"We would like to see some improvement in the ease of integration with this solution."
"The monitoring part requires some serious improvements in Google Kubernetes Engine, as it does not have very good monitoring consoles."
"Google Kubernetes Engine's cost should be improved because it is high."
"The network configuration has to be simplified."
"There is a limitation for our infrastructure. It's very complex to see in one dashboard all the components and all the behavior on performance. I am looking for some additional tools for that. If I want to check the disk or file storage, it gets complex. There should be an integrated dashboard so that we can manage everything through a single pane."
"We had a discussion in the Customer Advisory Board yesterday around use of SecureChange. We would like to have an opportunity for an engineer to choose if you want to make or take the policy which has been suggested by the designer functionality, making it more human readable or less human readable (more or less granular). This would be huge for the customers who are using SecureChange. They said this was one of their issues with it, especially for anything that was going into a regulator's or auditor's hands. The more human readable, the better that it would be, and this would definitely be applicable to our industry. It sounds like they are working on this issue, or they took the feedback, but that would be a big one for us in being able to make the jump to SecureChange."
"There were some hiccups here and there with the initial setup."
"The key area for improvement is the integration to F5. One of the things that we encountered with another customer is that there were some limitations when we tried to migrate policies from F5 into Tufin."
"I would like easier integration with more automation."
"The pricing should be reviewed, as it is a little too high."
"We have had a couple issues with the VMs, but I think it was just because they were starving for resources. A recommendation on what the virtual appliances should have for resources would be appreciated."
"They need to offer more support to vendors, such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Forcepoint."
"There are at least two things that need improvement. One is the business workflow and the second is the integration with logging solutions."
