Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable features of this solution are it supports the newest virus technology, which helps with bandwidth, and is very stable.""Setting up the solution initially is very easy.""The support has been responsive and helpful.""It is a good and stable solution.""It is a new product backed by HPE's expertise in networking and telecommunications. We can also work with 3Com products.""The most important is that the solution is stable.""The reliability is good.""The performance is good."

"The actual wireless access points themselves are very powerful.""We found the technical support to be helpful.""The technical features are very good and it's very useful if you need a wireless solution.""Ruckus has multiple radios. Therefore, it supports high speed for users and clients. Other vendors have fluctuations in speed. The main thing about Ruckus is that you can trust it and rely on its speed. I am simply satisfied with it.""The performance of this solution is amazing in terms of radiofrequency technology.""The initial setup of Ruckus Wireless WAN is very easy.""Provides great coverage and performance.""Tech support is good."

Cons
"HPE should improve performance and stability.""I would say that the integration with other vendors in areas such as management or the visibility of other vendors in the management tools could be improved.""The HPE Wireless dashboard could be more user-friendly.""The license cost of the product is an area where the prices are neither expensive nor cheap, leaving a scope for the prices to be lowered further.""It should be a faster device.""Scalability is an aspect of this product that should be improved.""The price of HPE Wireless WAN should be reduced.""In the next release of the solution, there should be better integration with other platforms."

"I believe there is room for improvement in the price structure.""Technical support is something that needs to be improved.""The initial setup is complex.""Pricing is an area for improvement. The devices are relatively expensive.""The solution could be more stable.""There could be more power supply for the radio features.""So far, I find Ruckus Wireless WAN okay in terms of the technology and existing business network, but licensing could be more flexible, especially the IoT license that was changed to adapt to the IoT Controller and sensor subscription. The previous licensing method for Ruckus Wireless WAN was better. In my opinion, it wasn't a good decision to change it because the customer prefers the previous licensing over the current licensing. It's not only about the money in terms of licensing, but also about flexibility. The latest license change isn't as flexible. I also found the cloud solution not partner-friendly, so that could also be improved. Another area for improvement in Ruckus Wireless WAN is answering partner requests because currently, it doesn't seem easy for them. What I'd like to see in the next release of the solution is the AP having its MQTT forwarder. Ruckus Wireless WAN AP supports IoT modules now and to use the IoT modules, you need all IoT data to pass through the IoT Controller. If I could forward that IoT data directly to my environment, similar to what you can do with other solutions, that would be great.""The pricing needs to be reconsidered because it's expensive."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "I find the price to be reasonable."
  • "Price wise, it is on the medium end of the scale. It could be lower."
  • "We don't pay a licensing fee, we purchased the product."
  • "There is a license for this solution and the license is normally paid annually but this depends on the contract."
  • "The solution is quite expensive. You have to pay for every node and it can get expensive fast, it is approximately £3,000 per month."
  • "We have been satisfied with the price."
  • "The price of HPE Wireless WAN is high."
  • "Customers pay for HPE Wireless WAN based on the contract. It's usually paid yearly. There's an additional cost, particularly for the hardware."
  • More HPE Wireless WAN Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "The solution is a little pricey, so customers sometimes select other products because of the price."
  • "This solution offers a yearly subscription. The price is not high, other solutions are much higher than Ruckus."
  • "This is a wonderful product for the price."
  • "It's expensive but you get more coverage."
  • "Here in India, Ruckus is chosen often because it is priced low."
  • "Licensing for Ruckus Wireless WAN when you compare it to other vendors, it's on par and not expensive. For me, all licensing is expensive by default, but you do get lifelong licenses, and what's cool about it is the license for Ruckus Wireless WAN, especially on the LAN controller, is not linked to an access point. It's just a quantity access point deployment, so you can rip out old APs, and put new ones in and they'll work on the wireless LAN because the license is not linked to a specific access point which is much easier to work with."
  • "In terms of the license of Ruckus Wireless WAN being cheap or expensive, it would differ based on your country. As I'm living in Turkey, it's expensive, so far. There is a big challenge about the chip crisis or the silicon crisis lately, and all vendors are fighting, so not enough equipment could be sold and the vendors must earn money, so it's very fair for vendors to push software and licensing to keep working and earning, so it's hard to answer a question on how cheap or expensive the license is for the solution."
  • "The price of Ruckus Wireless WAN is in the middle price range compared to competitors. You will find Cisco is the most expensive, the second is HPE and Aruba, and the third is Ruckus Wireless WAN. You then have all the follower solutions."
