Quotes From Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"The customized workflows we can define are very valuable. JIRA's private projects is very useful as well. There are also a lot of plugins that they provide.""The way to manage cards as a KANBAN, is really easy but when you need to track hundreds of projects, you need to be very clear in which way the things must be completed.""The documentation is very well done.""The solution is very stable.""The feature that we like the most is that JIRA enables modules. Atlassian provides a lot of products around JIRA, such as compliance for the documentation, BitBucket for the Git version. We are new to these products developed by Atlassian, but they can integrate very easily. Generally, when an editor is developing a solution, they think about integrating with JIRA. When we are looking for any other solution, they plan to easily integrate with JIRA.""The most valuable feature is that it fits very well into an agile framework, and it is especially helpful with the planning aspects."

Cons
"We would love to be able to have direct contact with Atlassian. Currently, they are not working directly with West African countries. We are considering using JIRA Align, but when we contact them, they say that as we are in West Africa, they don't directly work with West Africa.""n the next version I would like to see better reporting and safer plugins, as well as easier scalability.""JIra is very poor at reporting.""Converting a task into an epic is very troublesome.""I think their view needs to be more user friendly. The UI makes it difficult to find things. Secondly, the configuration is very complex. JIRA should help people find out what configuration they are using.""Another thing could be to have an easy way to manage the Portfolio and have more ways to share and to show graphics and reports"

More JIRA Portfolio Cons »

"On one side, it's very easy to create a task with text, but on the other side, it's not very well-formatted. Therefore, it's difficult to track specific data written in a task. We are making templates, but it's not enough to use a template to know the exact status of different tasks. One thing that we are looking for in Wrike is a better workflow. Because we can only move the status of tasks, we can't really manage workflow and send a task to a specific person. This is what is really missing in Wrike as compared to other tools. We are looking to replace Wrike because we need support for workflow. Another issue with Wrike is that they bring a lot of versions of the tool, which it's not so easy. They bring new versions very frequently, and these versions look similar. For example, we are using robots to read the tasks in the tools, which is problematic with Wrike because it is changing very frequently."

"Wrike is not so expensive, but I don't know exactly how it compares with other tools. Wrike might not be so cheap when we are using it for a lot of users."
