"It is a pretty stable solution...It is a pretty stable solution.""Most of the features are pretty good and the solution is user friendly.""We have found the solution to be very flexible to our requirements. We have been able to configure it on-premise effectively when we were using less of the cloud.""Everything is running seamlessly on the solution, to the point where you don't see any gap.""It's a simple and humble tool.""Kaseya Traverse is a very stable solution and very sustainable in terms of what the market wants, what is out there, price-wise and functionality features. They're quite competitive and they are always innovating.""The remote support and data collection features are great."

More Kaseya Traverse Pros →

"There is a simplicity to setting up the extra sensors. It's really easy for us to build infrastructure and start monitoring very quickly.""The solution provides us response times to issues.""Its proactiveness is its most valuable feature. We already know when we come in, in the morning, if a server or site is down, as opposed to someone telling us.""It has made our infrastructure more reliable.""The real-time monitoring feature in PRTG is invaluable to me""It is able to satisfy all our requirements in terms of email notifications and specific errors on the devices.""The installation is not that complex.""Accessibility, ease of use (Web GUI, MobileApps). Cons
"The Wi-Fi side needs improvement."

More Juniper Mist Premium Analytics Cons →

"In terms of what could be improved, we are innovating all the time, as well as having a look at different avenues so that the strategy follows the structure. I think the software is still a little bit too new to actually fully asses what it has.""Reporting is a bit difficult.""Reporting is tedious and not organized in the way customers expect.""The tool needs to have some AI capabilities, which it lacks currently.""We've noticed a few bugs as of late. However, this seems to only be in the reporting part of the product.""Dashboards and Central Protection were an issue. Also, database monitoring was not there. Even though they said that it was there at an additional cost, that tool was very basic. We couldn't have device configuration backup also.""Kaseya Traverse can improve by adding a Service Map to help us create a configuration management database (CMDB), this would be helpful for us."

More Kaseya Traverse Cons →

"I've encountered a challenge in my functions, particularly in adding and printing.""I would like a more straightforward ability to create dashboards and maps. The network maps should be a bit more flexibility in the GUI to do what we need to do.""We would like more cloud native sensors for AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc. A lot of businesses are moving in that direction, so having something where we can pull performance stats out of these cloud services would be great for us.""If PRTG could help me see the bandwidth for each host I have on my network, either for a wireless or a wired network, that would be very helpful.""Its price can be better. Its price is a problem for us because it is in dollars, and there is a high conversion rate. In terms of new features, it can have BGP monitoring. It should also have a dashboard and maps editor.""PRTG Network Monitor can improve by adding prevention and detection features.""They just released a newer version of the desktop app, a beta version, that I have been trialing out. I prefer the older version, only because of how the layout is designed""I have an issue with DFS, distributed file services... there isn't one by default. Taking into account the difference between DFS and DFSR as well would be great."

I have researched a quite a few network monitoring tools which can be used for various monitoring purposes of not only the servers, but the intermediate routers as well. There are majorly three types of these softwares. Ones which are completely open-source, you can do almost anything you want using these, but they require quite some expertise before you can use them. Then there are the ones that are not open source, the enterprise softwares and cost you some money, but on the other hand, they are extremely easy to set-up and learn. You can have them up and running in a matter of minutes. And then there are those which are completely cloud based. They can be free of cost or charge some money depending on the software. The good thing about these is that you don’t have to install any extra software, and it can be managed completely online but then again these have limited features and you cannot exploit them to the full extent as you can do with the open-source and to some extent the enterprise software, so I won’t suggest you to use these, because these are generally not the complete solutions and require other support software to achieve the same. Below I have listed the outstanding pros and cons of the various Network analyzers that you can look into Nagios Pros: Nagios offers an extensive set of collector plug-ins that allows users to gather performance and availability data from a broad range of operating systems, including  Windows and Netware Nagios… Read more →
