Pros
"We can manage the entire system across the network and troubleshoot the pain points."

"Everything is running seamlessly on the solution, to the point where you don't see any gap.""The remote support and data collection features are great.""Kaseya Traverse is a very stable solution and very sustainable in terms of what the market wants, what is out there, price-wise and functionality features. They're quite competitive and they are always innovating.""It is a pretty stable solution...It is a pretty stable solution.""It's a simple and humble tool.""Most of the features are pretty good and the solution is user friendly.""We have found the solution to be very flexible to our requirements. We have been able to configure it on-premise effectively when we were using less of the cloud."

More Kaseya Traverse Pros →

"It's a very reliable platform and we've never had any issues regarding the scalability or the stability of Zabbix.""Zabbix is scalable.""The initial setup was not complex.""We value the auto-host discovery, template import, bulk import/export features. Newer versions also add nice features, such as multi-IP per host.""We detect problems before the customer does and before it actually happens using the predictive functions in Zabbix.""Zabbix helps to save time.""The most valuable feature is network traffic monitoring.""The most valuable features are the monitoring and the ease with which we can set it up at customer sites with our custom Zabbix proxy and tools."

Cons
"The Wi-Fi side needs improvement."

More Juniper Mist Premium Analytics Cons →

"Reporting is tedious and not organized in the way customers expect.""We've noticed a few bugs as of late. However, this seems to only be in the reporting part of the product.""In terms of what could be improved, we are innovating all the time, as well as having a look at different avenues so that the strategy follows the structure. I think the software is still a little bit too new to actually fully asses what it has.""Dashboards and Central Protection were an issue. Also, database monitoring was not there. Even though they said that it was there at an additional cost, that tool was very basic. We couldn't have device configuration backup also.""Kaseya Traverse can improve by adding a Service Map to help us create a configuration management database (CMDB), this would be helpful for us.""Reporting is a bit difficult.""The tool needs to have some AI capabilities, which it lacks currently."

More Kaseya Traverse Cons →

"The product delivers false positives during reporting because of flapping. Other reasonably priced alternatives may have better performance.""One of the things we don't like is that Zabbix has a license structure with a price that is high compared to the competition. It's very high, for example, compared to something like Microsoft Teams.""The dashboard and the graph section could be a little bit more professional.""If you want to use all of the features then you have to pay a licensing fee.""Zabbix is not easy to configure, and upgrading is also an issue.""It should be easy to modify the front end.""Zabbix isn't very good at automation just yet.""Zabbix does not draw automatic mapping of the network, this is something they should add in the future. There is a lot of effort that is involved in tailoring some of the settings which could be made easier."

I have researched a quite a few network monitoring tools which can be used for various monitoring purposes of not only the servers, but the intermediate routers as well. There are majorly three types of these softwares. Ones which are completely open-source, you can do almost anything you want using these, but they require quite some expertise before you can use them. Then there are the ones that are not open source, the enterprise softwares and cost you some money, but on the other hand, they are extremely easy to set-up and learn. You can have them up and running in a matter of minutes. And then there are those which are completely cloud based. They can be free of cost or charge some money depending on the software. The good thing about these is that you don’t have to install any extra software, and it can be managed completely online but then again these have limited features and you cannot exploit them to the full extent as you can do with the open-source and to some extent the enterprise software, so I won’t suggest you to use these, because these are generally not the complete solutions and require other support software to achieve the same. Below I have listed the outstanding pros and cons of the various Network analyzers that you can look into Nagios Pros: Nagios offers an extensive set of collector plug-ins that allows users to gather performance and availability data from a broad range of operating systems, including  Windows and Netware Nagios… Read more →
