Find out what your peers are saying about Microsoft, Tableau, SAP and others in BI (Business Intelligence) Tools."I can't name the features the way the Knowage community calls them because I still don't know the lingo. However, I can describe them. I like the ability to join more than one report, set all fields on one end, and replicate that on the other reports. I like that a lot. I think it's one of the features that got me using Knowage. They have tables, and I like that too. They took SQL scripts and many other scripts and enabled them to even correlate with Python. That's also one of the best things about Knowage. You could also decide to get information per user role, and this is also a feature that I like in Knowage."
"The embedding feature is great."
"The concept of engines is quite powerful allowing the user to work with report authoring/provisioning tools of their choice."
"We can easily do our own customizations."
"The technical support services are good."
"Data preparation is fantastic and fast. We were able to use multiple data sources and prepare the data quickly."
"It plays a crucial role in facilitating decision-making for various organizational stakeholders."
"The solution is user-friendly."
"The specific capability I find important in Oracle Analytics Cloud is that it allows the basic user to easily drag and drop data. I also like that the solution allows the user to decide what to measure and what to see in the reports."
"The most valuable features of the solution are dashboarding and data visualization."
"I've discovered that the new layout of this product makes Docker sharing, machine learning support, and data backups more efficient. Unlike the older method of linking physical, pre-logical, and presentation layers separately, the new interface simplifies this process. Additionally, the integration of databases and machine learning is seamless, with the new visualization approach being particularly beautiful and highly beneficial."
"Mobility is the most valuable feature for us. All employees can access it from anywhere. It is a big advantage for us."
"It would be better if more resources were available to help us learn how to use it. I wanted to use Knowage for a more extended period, but learning materials around the product were not really available and were not really straightforward. I've also seen inconsistencies between versions. For example, under the tools, especially in the cockpit, the way you create reports is now different. You will also find some configurations within a particular state, like a line chart, which differs from version to version. I think consistency is an essential feature in a product, especially for business intelligence products."
"The dashboard components could be better."
"Development of SpagoBI has now been moved to Knowage. Users interested in further developments of the platform will have to look there."
"The only challenge here is that it's a Java-based platform. It requires very high technical skills."
"When you implement the product on a small scale, it doesn't generate any ROI."
"It is less scalable than Snowflake."
"When we have, for example, a table with low performance, we have several issues with drawing some graphics in the Oracle cloud."
"The interfaces could be improved and some in-memory operations could be built in."
"The price of the solution could be lower."
"It should simplify data connectivity and modeling, making data extraction more streamlined and adaptable for diverse use cases."
"The learning curve should be improved, and I'm uncertain if tutorials are readily available or easily accessible. We may have resorted to looking on YouTube for such information. Having easily understandable documents or guides for new users would be beneficial. AI integration would be an interesting feature to add in the next release."
"They could improve the ease of developing the dashboard and interacting with it."
