We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Workflow management is what clients select the most. It is very intuitive and pretty much drag-and-drop, so we can create escalation, decision flows, and if-else conditions pretty much by dragging and dropping boxes. Even someone who is not technical can develop a workflow for the business.""I like the scalability option and the simplicity, the way we can really use the interface to easily scale up.""Power Automate is intuitive and easy to use.""The feature most useful for integrating different applications is its ability to create flows. Specifically, we use flows to integrate with finance and operations.""It is a very useful solution. You don't need to create an infrastructure in your environment just for triggers or executions. You don't need to invest in the infrastructure. With Power Automate, we can call or trigger custom web services and routines. We are also using the flow for gathering data from Microsoft Dynamics.""This product is the best in terms of price and capabilities.""I like Power Automate because it is very easy to use for users who don't have IT knowledge.""The integrations that are built into Power Automate for those different Microsoft functions are good."

"Data extraction and auto-classification are great features.""What I find most valuable in Kofax TotalAgility is its OCR feature. I also find its workflow and business process management capabilities valuable. Kofax TotalAgility also has good integration with other solutions and has an API call feature.""Now it has an OCR, optical character recognition, engine where it can extract data from the document.""Great with recognition providing a high level of confidence.""Essentially, Kofax TotalAgility as a whole is quite nice. As of now, we've only been able to use and explore its document classification and extraction capabilities. We haven't explored and used the case management capability yet, but the scan and capture capabilities we've been using heavily and those are quite good. Our solutions are mainly around those areas of Kofax TotalAgility. We haven't explored the product a lot, but the capabilities we've explored are good.""Its integration capabilities are valuable. It has low code/no code features. You have to do minimal coding.""The most valuable features of this solution are automation, ease of billing processes with the process net, and low to no code development.""Kofax TotalAgility is stable."

Cons
"More scripting capabilities could be included in Microsoft Power Automate.""I had some experience in the past with the solution having some difficulties with large loads, it is already better but it could still be improved.""I've had some issues with the stability.""I would recommend removing the AI Builder feature from the automatic document processing functionality. The tool can serve even better with free automatic document processing features, it shouldn’t only be available in the trial version.""Inability to use a lot of connectors without having a premium license.""WinAutomation is scalable to a certain extent. I would rate it seven for the scalability, which could be better. Softomotive is better scalable than WinAutomation in this regard.""They should include a custom plugin feature so that we can add our custom connections.""Automatic selectors that allow me to select parts of a website could be more adaptable."

More Microsoft Power Automate Cons →

"Lacks sufficient inbuilt features.""Kofax TotalAgility could improve the OTR engine. The page OTR engine is not accurate in predicting the data properly. If you provide many features which are good for business process management without an accurate OTR engine people will not want it.""Kofax needs to improve the low-code or citizen developers.""Sometimes there isn't enough accuracy when it comes to extracts.""They provide sufficient but not excellent technical support. Perhaps there is a point where they could use some improvement.""The one thing I would like to see more of right now: is a simplified form creation. That would be the most significant improvement I would like to see in their product.""Table line item extraction is not possible through Quick Capture.""Room for improvement would be better OCR functionality in terms of Arabic OCR. There should be better accuracy."

  • "Kofax TotalAgility is very expensive."
  • "It has a perpetual license. You pay once in a lifetime for the volume of scans you will do and the number of users you will have.
