Find out what your peers are saying about Microsoft, HashiCorp, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and others in Enterprise Password Managers."The shared folders is an important feature. It's the primary feature we use. Also, the ability for LastPass to autofill and hide the passwords, so we don't have to keep changing passwords every time a person leaves, is valuable."
"This product helps keep us secure."
"Off-boarding of people is easy without changing shared account passwords."
"Scalability is fine, no issues with that, especially now that they have added different user-level permissions. That has made it a lot easier to delegate out certain features to have other people do."
"It is easy to use."
"Increased security around password management for teams and collaborative efforts with external vendors."
"The most valuable feature for me is being able to pair applications and user permissions."
"The initial setup for this process is straightforward and extremely easy. It just works."
"It's very simple to manage and implement. Its functions are straightforward. You get all the basic features, such as you get the option to unlock the user account if it is locked. You can enforce password policies, and you also have the option to allow them to reset their passwords if they forget it. These were the basic requirements of my company that we could achieve through this product."
"The solution provides wide options for multifactor authentication."
"Due to ransomware and novel threats, we can no longer allow people to gain domain admin access to our servers with only a username and password. With MFA, they must supply a one-time password sent to them via some authenticator, like Microsoft or Google Authenticator. It could be a text message."
"The most valuable feature is the ability for remote users to change their login credentials using their mobile devices."
"One of the most valuable features is the self-service capability. I"
"Having multifactor authentication in Windows machines."
"Monitoring is one of the most valuable features for us."
"The ability to set up an account expiration limit/date would be very useful."
"The biggest thing is there is no good way to have LastPass rotate passwords without human intervention. Right now, we have to go into each folder, then rotate and manually update each password. It can be done it by loading a bunch of passwords into a spreadsheet, but this makes the whole process insecure because then the passwords have been noted into a spreadsheet which have to be upload. We have to go into 40 to 50 applications and manually update passwords, because we don't view their solution of writing a bunch of passwords on a spreadsheet, then uploading them as a secure solution. This should be done internally within LastPass."
"I would like to be able to reduce the log out time of the session."
"It is not super feature laden. It does not stand out versus the competition."
"I struggle a little bit with the mobile app. As a browser extension, it works really well, and we are able to get to what we need to. However, on the phone, it's not quite as easy to navigate."
"We have issues from time to time where, for some reason, it just keeps auto logging-out the user and then, the next day, they'll come in and it will work just fine."
"Our biggest issue over the years was around the stability of the LDAP sync to AD."
"The management through the plugin is poor. It consumes tons of client resources especially as an administrator."
"We need more reports for visualization."
"Could be simplified, not user-friendly."
"They could improve their security of the products to prevent vulnerabilities."
"There is a lack of specific information provided by the analytics portion of the software."
"The registration process could be improved. It should be easier for users to register for the service."
"The worst part is that the solution can only be installed or updated on a device if it is physically connected to the local network."
