"We have FortiEDR installed on all our systems. This protects them from any threats."
"Forensics is a valuable feature of Fortinet FortiEDR."
"he solution is an anti-malware product that integrates well with other vendor products such as firewalls, SIEM, etc. It captures threat intelligence and gives you better visibility. The product also has sandboxing features."
"Fortinet is very user-friendly for customers."
"We can manage everything from the central console and it is very easy."
"The endpoint protection and disk encryption features are the most valuable."
"The reporting capabilities are a valuable feature. In enables more visibility on our network."
"Threat prevention is valuable because most clients use other solutions like antivirus as part of web protection. I don't find that kind of solution useful."
"The thing that I like is that they have gathered almost all the products in one management server, the ePolicy Orchestrator."
"What I like best is the integrated end-to-end security that works with the security information and events manager."
"The primary reason the solution is good is because of its ease-of-use."
"A big advantage of McAfee Endpoint Security is the ability to manage very big environments. We are supporting environments with 200,000 to 300,000 endpoints. The ability to manage with one single console is very important for us. McAfee has phenomenally improved in terms of detection. It provides real-time detection and response with the error, Real Protect, and reputations. It is not only based on signatures but also on behavior analytics, artificial intelligence, or machine learning. We have environments that never had issues with ransomware in the last 20 years. McAfee has a very good performance in this field."
"I think this is the best solution in the category of endpoint protection, it's really excellent. It's better than McAfee."
"I like Apex Central. We can manage all the Trend Micro products from one console."
"It's easier to integrate Apex One than Kaspersky. It also performs well, and the customer feedback has been positive."
"The most valuable feature of Trend Micro Apex One is the virtual patching it provides."
"The AI and machine learning feature is the most valuable because it helps mitigate threats based on an organization's behavioral patterns."
"The solution can scale."
"The features that I have found most valuable are the endpoint security with the zero-day vulnerability. They have an on-premise sandboxing solution which prevents any of those zero-day vulnerability issues."
"Before Apex One, we used OfficeScan, which Trend Micro acquired, but it was on-prem. We were managing three or four anti-virus solutions. Apex One's cloud model allowed us to decommission the on-prem servers and consolidate. We get all the same features, and everything is upgraded automatically, so we only need to use the software."
"The support needs improvement."
"Making the portal mobile friendly would be helpful when I am out of office."
"The security should be strong for the cloud. Some applications are on-prem and some are on the cloud. Fortinet should also have strong security for the cloud. There should be more security for the cloud."
"There's room for improvement in the quick response time and technical support for integration issues, especially when dealing with multiple vendors."
"The EDR console should have more extensive reporting. You shouldn't need to purchase FortiAnalyzer. It should be included in the EDR part. The security adviser cloud platform could be improved with more options for exclusive or intensive rules for devices."
"The amount of usage, the number of details we get, or the number of options that can be tweaked is limited in comparison to that with other EDR solutions"
"Integration with Azure and SaaS provisioning tools could improve Fortinet FortiEDR."
"Detections could be improved."
"Currently, Trellix Endpoint Security can't find the running mutexes, while other open-source products can do it."
"The tool could provide more advanced protection."
"Support-wise they need to be better."
"We have a lot of problems with the user experience and it's difficult to implement. MacAfee's better than the ancient anti-virus solutions but it's a little slow to resolve. Many files with malware were destroyed through the network, and MacAfee doesn't detect anything."
"An area in need of improvement involves the overview, which usually does not enable one to get the value in reports."
"I've encountered minor challenges related to encryption."
"There are more secure featured solutions from McAfee on the market but for smaller companies like ours, they are too expensive."
"We’re facing remote installation issues sometimes:"
"There is a need for enhancement in certain reporting formats."
"The solution could use extra dashboards and offer more analytics."
"I would suggest making the on-prem and cloud versions easier to manage via Apex One Central, a centralized management platform for customers and agents."
"The solution could improve by making the interface less confusing, it needs to be simplified."
"They need to integrate the DLP with the EDR."
"The console can be better in terms of management and viewing the hierarchy of devices. Currently, setting up the hierarchy OU-wise is a bit cumbersome. It can be made a bit easier. If that can be more user-friendly and easier to manage, it would be great."
"The integration capabilities of the solution could be improved."
"All the features in Trend Micro Apex One are not compatible or functional for all the different operating systems. For example, they have fewer features in other operating systems compared to what they have for Microsoft Windows. It would be nice if they could have one solution which all functions work on all kinds of operating systems. It would be much easier for those who have different operating systems in their environment to have one solution."
